I bought the CE as well, but you don't see me asking for more stuff. I think I got quite a lot of stuff already, aside from the digital stuff in game and that we got and access to a second floor hardly anyone uses. Now what I did like was the Malgus statue sitting in my office desk, the galaxy map, some book, a music CD, Swtor collector tin, install CDs and the security key. I'm pretty good with what I got right now and I'm content with it. And people are right its some twisted sense of entitlement. You received the products you have paid for already

Doesn't have to be "stuff". Could have been just a new incremental titles for time paid/played. Pretty standard mmo practice from what I seen.

Titles? Will that add that much to your game expierence? I can't remember the last time I even looked at anyones title. I'm not trying to be a wiseass I'm just trying to understand this train of thought.

It would add much more than the Life Day crap did and would have taken 1/8th of the resources to implement.

Ugh.. sorry for the snap mate. Just a straw that broke camel's back kind of thing. I have just had enough of the people that basicly say that Bioware is almost forcing them to spend their Cartel Coins on stuff like the Gambling Packs or whatever else they don't actually need.

Going back to what you wrote, the attack on you was totally uncalled for and I apologize.

In general, my point still stands though.. Bioware isn't forcing anyone to spend their Cartel Points on useless stuff. Heck, I probably spent most on Bank/Inventory tabs and Legacy unlocks myself because I didnt feel like grinding out the credits for all my characters.

1. Yes people need to stop feeling like they are entitled to every little thing that happens in the game.
2. A veterans reward program does not hurt at all, I would be for this some point down the road. This should be separate from other features in the game, and have incentives for people to subscribe.
and the Force beat generic Swords and Magic any day. 8/26/14 That was my old signature but after RotHC, I went back to superheroes and swords and magic. Now waiting on Dragon Age and a SWTOR story expac for my Bioware fix 7/30/15 Returned for KotFE. Finally, a story expac.

OMG! You've certainly outlived your usefulness in the forums (if you ever had it). Please do us a favor, quit the game and never come back.

I don't get it... You are paying for a service, they are offering a service. If said delivered service is no longer satisfactory to you then stop paying for that service. I'm not saying you are a petulant child but complaining about not getting free stuff makes you seem like one.

Those were the things we received so far from the top of my head.

And yes, you are being entitled to ask for more than the free Coins. Saying they are a ruse to get us addicted is merely proof of how weak your own character is and/or how bad you are with your own resources. They didn't put a gun to your head and told you to spend your cartel coins on things.

No matter how much you spent in the past, you are as important to the future of this game as someone who just started playing today. Stop feeling special just because we were here first please.

The Cartel Coins aren't "free" they are part of your subscription package.

The other stuff is fine and in context with other MMORPGs.

However the 1 year anniversay stuff isn't, this is what WAR did (and WAR was in much worse shape than SWTOR at that time):

Quote:
Warhammer Online's One Year Anniversary Celebration includes:

New Wild Hunt Live Event and instanced dungeon, The Hunter's Vale, accessible from Elven RvR areas, takes place on Warhammer Online from August 31 – September 7 where groups of six players will battle against the ultimate quarry
Rare items found in Wild Hunt include the Hartsblood Draft, the mystic Bleeding Hart Charm and the Fleet Stag Mantle, a rare cloak made from the skin of his sacred deer that transforms players into a mighty stag, with the ability to travel at the same speed as mounts
Following the Wild Hunt live event, limited weekend-only events are planned with special versions of the Mourkain Temple (September 11-14), Gates of Ekrund (September 18-21) and Temple of Isha (September 25-28) scenarios
During the month of September, players will receive a 20% experience and renown bonus, special in-game items, veteran rewards, fireworks, exploding stout and much more

Celebrate the anniversary with honor, hone your weapons, and sharpen your aim – but, most importantly, offer proper respect to the God of the Hunt! Find out more about the Wild Hunt Live Event and the one year anniversary celebration of WAR at www.warhammeronline.com.

As you can see that is a VAST amount more than 1 stack of fireworks (fireworks dropped free from MOBs randomly during WARs 1 month of celebrations in fact).
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Whatever else can be said about this games start up, and plenty can, it was no where near as bad a start up as you claim. AoC for instance had a far far worse start than SWTOR.
