I would like to know if they're working on an actual solution to the problem (as in wiping whatever it is that prevents people from purchasing coins) or if they consider having to call Billing the fix. The latter is IMO not a solution and it's not even working for everyone since the knowledge disparity among the CS workers is as wide as the Atlantic Ocean.

Also, some have reported that Billing has managed to fix their problems but is it permanent? Has anyone had it fixed, mamaged to buy coins and then ended up with the same error again? I would like to know what I'm getting myself into before I possibly dedicate time to what most likely will be an hours long call.

Ok so I am caving in and calling the hotline. Wish me luck.

Edit 1: And they are giving me the run around. I'll have to return the call in 2 hours.

In 2 hours? Is it a 24/7 service?

Good luck to you.

Yesterday I got my credit card billl and I was lucky. I didnt get charged for any of my failed transactions
Thank god cause that wold have been several hundred Euros.

I really have to wonder why such major ****ups always happen in our StarWars games.

And what Im wondering even more that a greedy company like EA hasnt fixed a problem yet that prevents thousands of players from buying in their cartel shop and resubbing and so losing 1000s and 1000s of dollars and euros and whatever currency they also "support". LoL support......not a word anyone will ever associate with EA any more.

Same issue here, can't buy Cartel coins.
Tried to remove to add my card or use PayPal
None of it works. I can't call CS cause I can't call
Overseas and Skype just randomly disconnects
The calls midway. It's annoying as hell. Now
I can't sub or buy coins, sent 2 support forms and
1 email, no response. A part of me wants to sympathize
And hope it's cause they have a frenzied plethora
Of such issues but it isn't a recent issue, nor is it
A small issue at all. I just have this feeling with all the
Claims of wanting to reach out to us players even more,
That is all bull, and they don't give a damn.

In all truths I love starwars, but it keeps feeling like
These games are ending up in the hands of the
wrong companies.

Bioware, I do hope you are reading all of these and
Give the rest of us players at least some respect for a
Proper response to the situation.

I know some people think we feel entitled to certain things
That we have little patience.
Well, we paid money for services rendered, and if they aren't
Properly rendered, some form of explaination and resolution
Should automatically come swiftly, especially with an issue that
Is this big. -Points to all the pages-

Would you pay for an 8 course dinner to find only 4 courses
And the restaurant calls you to come back when they actually
Finished making the other 4?

I'd like to know the answer to these questions too.. from my own experience and reading the posts of others a phone call seems to be considered the fix for now at least..if one CS can't fix it for you call until you get one that can. So far and very annoyingly they have made it something the customer has to sort out.
Although I got my mine fixed by phone I'm wondering too if it will come back..it has to be likely if they havent done anything about the problem deep in their billing system.

Why is it that some of my Cartel Coin purchases fail with an error message?

As with any online purchase, Cartel Coin purchases may fail for a variety of reasons. If you have never successfully purchased Cartel Coins, there are a number of things to check which may be causing the error you are seeing:1.Check that your billing address registered on www.swtor.com exactly matches the address your payment provider has on record for you
2.You must be making the purchase from the same country your payment card was issued from – for example if you are using a US Credit Card to buy coins from Europe, your payment may fail for this reason.
3.Double-check the card information you have provided to be sure that there are no missing or transposed numbers in your card number, CVV number or expiration date.

If you have successfully purchased coins before, and are now unable to buy more, this could be because there is a limit to the number of Cartel Coin purchases any player may make per day, if you have passed this limit, you will not be able to make more Cartel Coin purchases for 24 hours.

There may be additional restrictions in terms of transaction numbers or spending limits which are imposed by your payment provider and are beyond our control. We would always suggest that you check with your payment provider in cases where there is no clear reason for a transaction to have failed.

NONE OF THE ABOVE APPLIES! The amount of LOST REVENUE this has cost your company is incalculable. With nearly 130 pages of complaints spanning days you should be ashamed of yourselves. If this was my company I would be firing an entire division for this massive debachle. Every hour this goes without a fix is likely costing you thousands, never mind the ill will that continues to fester in the community at large. You cannot afford this.

Youll have to call them if you want to try and fix it anytime soon..theres no sign of a solution or even if they really know whats caused this mess.
