This morning after the patch I tried to log into the game but after I press "Play" the computer either freezes immediately, or loads the SWTOR splash screen and then freezes forcing me to do a hard reboot.

I have done the fix on the launcher screen, re-installed, uninstalled and re-installed completely, performed a memtest, and chkdsk. The diagnostics were fine.

I have checked my hardware and software and they are all functioning perfectly.

I last played yesterday before the patch.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have included a copy of the launcher log below.

Greetings Cjaine,

Could you also please post your DxDiag?

Thanks!

Greetings Cjaine,

Could you please do a clean install of your graphic card drivers? To do this please download the latest drivers, uninstall the current ones and the run the installation for the latest drivers.

Please come back to us if the issue remains.

I hope this helps!

The link you gave me was for the 64 bit drivers, I am running a 32 bit version of Windows 7.

I reinstalled the drivers earlier today. Should I do it again?

Thanks.

Greetings Cjaine,

Sorry for the wrong link!

When you previously did the re-installation did you un-install the the previous drivers first? If not then, yes please do a clean install.

Thanks!

Did the full uninstall. Rebooted, installed the new graphics drivers.

Computer still locks up after I press play.

Next idea?

Greetings Cjaine,

Could you please check if you are able to start the game after a Clean Boot? This will help ruling out any conflicting programs.

Also please disconnect any unnecessary USB devices that you have connected to the computer (if possible leave only mouse and keyboard connected for the test).

Thanks!
