Beggars emerged after F2P

I hope they aren't asking for credits. They are ridiculously easy to get just by questing. You should have half a million by midway through the game. If you spend it, that's your own fault.

I'll point out if it weren't for the "beggars" this game would have shut down. Just saying.

Funny im yet to see one in game.... Also i realy doubt that someone who is laizy enough to ask on general chat for cr would stay long in this game, playing.

Have had a couple here and there, missed the launch of F2P since I just resubbed and came back about a week and half ago. Once in awhile I will help out if Im it unless they are being a complete jerk about it. In fact I gave 15k to a guy trying to gear up, and 2 days later he mailed me 20k in the mail as a thank you. So sometimes its a good karma thing to do. But overall it hasnt been that bad, now as for gold farmer spam, its been horrible since Ive been back.

I won't help players looking for a handout, but I will help players looking for a hand.

Well its the inference that f2p players are beggars. They aren't they are why the game has hope of survival now.

If a beggar asks me for money, I usually open a trade window, put 100k credits in it, and then take my dog for a 30 min walk

I remember seeing someone begging. They must have been mentaly challenged because they were asking for anyone to buy them a crime lord's pack and mail it to them. Then I gave up on life and turned of general chat for the day.

I have to admit in an odd way the experienced players I have run into in this game since I started playing 3 weeks ago have been wonderful. I have never been trolled when I asked a specific question on game play issues in general. I have twice been on a starter world and posted something like LFM {Heroic 2+} questname and had a someone say count me in, when I add them to the group I realize its a 50 just helping out. One of those 50s also explained datacrons to me and showed me where they were on that planet (totally without me asking him to).

As for begging for money? I have never seen a reason to. Quest gear and drops have served me well so far (and some I crafted for myself).

I just want to say to you and the other nice folks like the 2 50s that helped me out of the blue. Keep being terrific and know it will be payed forward.
