There's been a major increase in ALL numbers. So... yes.

Saw one guy begging for credits on fleet over and over. Reported spam and put em on ignore.
Dear BW,
Please nerf paper and buff rock. Scissors is fine as is.
Signed, Rock.

No, not so far

But I always have generalchat muted, to much rubbish there

The worst ones are the ones that get into your guild and ask over and over for

1) Help with easy quest. Seems they want a 50 with them all the time
2) Wants everyone to craft for them.
3) Ask for money in guild
4) Once gets stuff Gquit

The problem is it is hard to spot them at 1st since normal guildies also ask for help but these guys never stop

I've seen a few in chat on fleet and homeworlds, both factions POT5. No more than pre-F2P, like after sub launch or 1.2 dropped. I help people out often and don't ask for anything in return, but don't pay any attention to the moocher types.

Do the classic WOW beggar distraction, modified for SW:TOR.

Send them mail, advising it will contain instructions to get creds.

Hello hero!

The war effort is in dire straights, as I am sure you know. We need our TOP MEN/WOMEN adding to the cause. We have broken droids, drained blasters, and empty stomachs. We need YOUR help!

Retrieve Sweetiepies 100 Astromech Droid Plating, 100 Rechargeable Power Pack , and 100 Fibrous Meat. Once complete, meet Sweetiepies back on the Imperial Fleet.

Shame f2p cannot trade. But for ppl who are not f2p, it's always fun to open the trade window, enter say 500k of credits and go for a coffee. Come back 10 minutes later to see them standing like a plum, waiting for you to press "send"
