TOR is a worldwide service, that means no matter when they take it down it will be during someones primetime. They currently take it down during the time period with the lowest global concurrency.

Please look at this: http://store.steampowered.com/stats/

It's not from an MMO, but Steam is a worldwide service, and the ccu curve should look about the same for every server based system. Now tell me at which time you would perform maintenance when all servers need to be brought down at the same time.

The only solution would be to not allow cross-continental server logins, so the US client could have a different version from the EU/APAC server/client. And this doesn't sound like a good tradeoff to me.

I'm sorry for you APAC guys, I really am. But unfortunately you are suffering here so the least amount of people need to suffer.

If you could even call it that. It's 120 minutes where a silly game is not available. How can the world go on..?

Why does this game have so much maintenance all the time. I could have sworn we had maintencance tuesday right? Can't we have maintenance ONE time out of the week?

The purple crafted gear bug is why, I'd assume.

I'm two sided about this so i'm gonna be nice and be a dick.

1. It really sucks that maintenance always interrupts the same people in their main play time (I'm one of those people)

2. If you cant handle a 2 hour downtime... Get a life, seriously its just a game

or it could be the issue with companions not color matching gear, or one of the other great gifts we get in ever patch that BW puts out.

If it were up to me, I would provide a reason for an unscheduled maintenance. We'll just have to see what gets fixed.

Yes, this is it exactly and what I've complained about in previous threads. If they did just one of these "unscheduled" maintenance(s) per month during prime-time U.S. hours instead, they'd get some complaints, but no one would likely unsubscribe due to one maintenance. This one maintenance would have only affected those players once during a 30-day period.

Bioware is not doing that, though. They are claiming that it is "unscheduled," then scheduling it for the exact same time each time. Eventually, the people affected are going to hit the road. Any sane person that is repeatedly hit by this supposedly, "unscheduled" maintenance would.

Why? Because if a bug sneaks through, people start demanding a second maintenance within the same week to correct the bug.

They do a second maintenance? People start complaining about the multiple maintenances.

In other words, people on this forum will keep on complaining for the sake of complaining.
