Allen Adham started Blizzard WITH Morhaime. Was the lead designer on World of Warcraft HE LEFT just after World of Warcraft launched. Like I said very few people stay with a company unless they are in charge.

So there you go the LEAD DESIGNER of WORLD OF WARCRAFT and one of the 3 founding members of Blizzard entertainment. LEFT JUST AFTER WOW LAUNCHED.

The reason EA is rated the worse company is because of butt hurt fanbois. You have to be crazy to think a VIDEO game company is worse then Bank of America, Halliburton, or Black Water.

edit: Oh here you go an article from 2004 stating MANY of the cofounders of Blizard have left

/sigh ... ok (A) 1 guy leaving shortly after WoWs release is no where near comparable to whats gone on with Bioware recently. Nor is 4 other dudes picking up and leaving over a year before WoW released. I never said devs arent let go or resign on their own now and then but the sudden unemployment of pretty much every known face in SWTOR including the founders themselves is obviously EAs doing. Specially when its developers who were incredibly enthusiastic about the game every step of they way. That happens when the suits call in the "Bobs" (yes, Office Space reference) who start wrecking years of hard work with their cash grabs, and laying people off to save the EA "Lumburg's" a penny.

That is part of the reason why EA gets worse company ... for its shady practices and horrible treatment of its employees and customers alike. It was voted worst by a poll at The Consumerist, not a video game centric site where "butt hurt fanbois" of EA would generally visit. Not the first time it earns the title either.

(B) Dont really need the PMs .... thanks. (o_O)

we are not talking about 1 guy. We are talking bout the LEAD DESIGNER AND COFOUNDER OF WOW LEAVING AS THE GAME LAUNCHED.

He wasn't the only one. Lots of the developers left WoW after launch. Which is why you saw a HUGE shift from 40 man raids to BC and the end game there. In fact after EVERY expansion developers leave, lead developers. As they do their big addition to WoW they move on to other products.

Umm yes the Consumerist (a blog btw which anyone could vote multiple times) poll came out just after ME3 launched and fanbois were hurt about the ending.

look at what it beat out? Sallie Mae? A company that gives student loans which are all but impossible to repay. EA is an entertainment company. No one forces you to buy their products. They don't put you in debt for the rest of your life like the banks up there.

It's because of the Fanbois that the consumerist removed it's commenting system because it was plauged by people screaming over ME3's ending.

No, you see, in SWTOR people get fired after they finish the content.

Why do you think they said there will be 1 update/month? And now its 1/4 update every 6 weeks? They are just implementing what was done loooooong time ago.

I don't know about George, but Daniel Erickson's twitter posts seem to indicate that he was unhappy with the F2P changes and the need to monetize everything, and mostly that he longed to be part of a smaller, indie type of production team rather than a giant production team.

George apparently migrated to Singapore.

Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Come join The Red Eclipse .

Besides that, many of the F2P players will not be sitting on the fleet. Truly there's little for them to do there. As usually you'd just sit there to do any of the following:

- Wait for Flashpoint to pop.
- Wait for Warzone to pop.
- Sell on GTN.
- Wait for an op to start.
- Look for an op to do.

It's rare that you go by the fleet for questing, crafting or class changes with most of that coming across your path during leveling anyway. When I was leveling for example, I spent hardly any time on the fleet during the first 6 - 8 weeks I enjoyed my storyline.

So in terms of the F2P players, much more relevant is, how many players are on the quest worlds.

The fact that these two left the game gives me hope that SWTOR has a better future.

While I have some small respect for their intentions to help, it was painfully obvious that both Georg and Daniel did not grasp many of the core fundamentals that make MMO's actually fun to play. I hope not to see them in future games.

It was sad to see them go, because they seemed really passionate about making the game succeed.

@sstanks
Allen Adham is still a consultant for Blizzard Entertainment, which so we are clear is autonomous to Activision, and has his own company Tenfold Capital Partners. Which is a bleeding hedge-fund company. And he is a consultant to Blizzard.

Frank Pierce is still with Blizzard. Making games, money and being successful.

Erickson and Zoeller are where exactly?

The voters also overlooked banks that made people homeless.

EA being voted the worst company is a severe case of a first world problem.
