Its is a fact that bugs are part of modern gaming, like it or not they are there.....no company is out to spoil your game but with all these millions of lines of code stuff goes wrong and then it gets missed, show me one person you know that has never made a mistake.

I will give £100 to the first person to point out a game released recently that didnt have a bug in, or a games company that is actively trying to get rid if its own playerbase. Im surprised there hasnt been a 'im gonna sue BW' thread yet

TLDR: Chill out, its just a game, yes its annoying but its not the end of the word ffs, play something else or even try going outside....
Not just modern gaming I am also waiting for the sue bioware thread I love laughing at morons.

This is not about bugs being in the game it's about the fact that nearly every time we have a patch something breaks. It's about reaccuring bugs and not just one but multiple bugs that were fixed in a previous build. The fact that the same bugs are appearing together leads one to believe that they used an old build and that they have a version controll problem. Many of us are in, were in, and or manage IT projects. We are more than qualified to analyze the problem due to the imperical evidence presented to us. Basically a lot of us that are in IT are pretty much in "constant test mode" by training. Something has to be done with their Development/QA/CM/Testing. This is really unproffessional.

I agree that their QA has repeatedly proven to be quite poor, in the number of obvious bugs that make it through (that is, bugs which could be seen simply by loading the game for 5 minutes).

On the other hand, I think anyone who works in IT, coding, QA, or some related field should know all the greater that its absurd to say you are qualified to know what's going on simply by seeing the end result. Just because the symptom of this bug is similar to a previous one, the causes don't necessarily have anything to do with one another. If you are involved in any kind of software coding at any level, you should know this better than anyone.

The only thing this thread is proving is that fanbois will defend anything their pet MMO company does, no matter how messed up.

Ah geez not the " fanboy" thing. Might I ask why you are here then? The game has been out for almost a year now it is a game and gasp there are and will be bugs. Warcraft still has bugs in it since launch that have yet t be fixed I would love to hear your plans to release an MMO that is 100 percent bug free and then release said MMO.

In coding I have seen this first hand and done it myself a very simple mistake can wreck an entire code block the thing will still compile but, the mistake will still be in there and with millions or billions of lines of code it's a lot of work.

To put simply MMOs are a work in progress always and even single player games have derp bugs in it.

Doesn't matter. If you blunder something and the combination of level of blunder + number of reoccurrences of said blunder is high enough, you'll get mocked and berated for it. That doesn't just go for programming... that goes for anything in life. So it doesn't matter what's causing the problem... if the problem occurs multiple times and BW isn't setting up enough safety nets to catch it, then they deserve this anger.

And running patches on a separate computer for even one hour of active play, using their current proposed version, would catch probably half of the bugs that Bioware routinely lets go live.
