Haven't we already had this bug before? Shouldn't they already know how to fix it by now. Seriously you would think they would have learned from the first time it happened. Hopefully it doesn't take them as long as it did the last time to get it fixed.

I'm going to bet not. They've published notice and a work-around. Since there's a work-around, they're not going to hot-fix it.

The level of suck built into the work-around is irrelevant.

When did this happen? And for which classes? For some reason I don't think I remember it.

I have no doubt people have /bug this in the game already, I am sure the devs have saw it in the forums, now it is just a matter of time before it is fixed. Meanwhile just do something else and stop nerd raging about it

For people who have been playing for quite some time, this probably isn't game-breaking. I'm more worried about all the new players we have running around who all of a sudden are dying repeatedly and don't know why. That equals high frustration levels, and high frustration levels equals quitting.

If they fix this fast, this will be a non-issue, but if not, we're going to lose a lot of new people.
aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?

I'm pretty tolerant of bugs usually, but this is entirely over the line. Shameful display.

You know what? I just unsubbed. I love this game, but I can't give money to a company that just doesn't care about its customers. Maybe if they can fix their behind-the-scenes issues and stop releasing bug-ridden patches, I'll come back once my sub ends.

Also, not even a month ago we got the big announcement about how their testing was fixed and there will be no more 1.4's. I'm betting they meant they fired the guy in charge, who probably was the only one who knew what was going on with the code base.

Nah it happened a few times with wow. The biggest I can recall being the instance server issues during late BC that reappeared early on in LK. They were much less common though, and I can't recall anything that reappeared more than once. The only game I've played that was worse than this one in this respect was DCUO, where bugs were like popular Hollywood movies, nothing but sequels.

love seeing all these people ranting about bugs, as if Bioware invented bugs just to annoy them.

Its is a fact that bugs are part of modern gaming, like it or not they are there.....no company is out to spoil your game but with all these millions of lines of code stuff goes wrong and then it gets missed, show me one person you know that has never made a mistake.

I will give £100 to the first person to point out a game released recently that didnt have a bug in, or a games company that is actively trying to get rid if its own playerbase. Im surprised there hasnt been a 'im gonna sue BW' thread yet

TLDR: Chill out, its just a game, yes its annoying but its not the end of the word ffs, play something else or even try going outside....
A forum post should be like a woman's skirt, long enough to cover the subject material but short enough to keep things interesting
