On a PVP server it really shouldn't matter. On a PVE server, it would be easy to remove the oversturation of stuns in PVP the same way they removed the PVE Adrenals. When in a PVP zone, the ability is grayed out ,or unuseable. An adrenal is nothing more than another ability and there are plenty of ways to script them out in certain situations.

Herein lies the rub, the biochems who were using reusable adrenals were told they were ruining the pvp experience. Now we hear that cybertechs are ruining the experience with reusable grenades. Everytime they try to balance the game, they break it further. Huberus is at work here, because game designers don't want to believe the community can solve the problem.

The scripting lag for ability useage is aweful. Also, if I go into cover (agent/smuggler), I expect all my abilities to be available. It may take a few seconds even for some of my abilities to show up on the cover bar when timing is critical in PVP. They broke the game before it was released with the game engine and exacerbated the issues trying to "fix" the issues.

Again you're missing the point, and it's amazing how one-track minded you are. The point isn't that stuns exist, or that you can't get out of "every" stun scenario. It's simply the sheer number of stuns that there are.

The biggest problem you have is that you can't even recognize the problem. I want tactical combat, not stun-fest scenarios. Another part of the problem is that roots aren't even effected by resolve, and in the case of melee vs ranged classes it's effectively another stun.

hold on. in what world are stuns essential to PVE? you can't even interrupt most bosses, nevermind trying to stun them. stuns in pve just help you solo crap on your below level character and beat up adds in boss fights. tweak the adds ever so slightly and voila. fixed. you're talking about what? 2 whole fights in the game? mezz's still work, btw. plenty of cc for the PVE trash pulls. do I wanna get rid of ALL stuns? no. but they're not essential tools in pve. in fact, they're far more essential to pvp as it exists today.

The facts are simple. Each class has too many stuns. During any one match, you can get stunned at least 40+ times in just 15 minutes. Stun locks, resolve is a waste of time.

I really don't understand Biowares fascination with stuns in this game. I don't ever recall Han Solo throwing a flash nade at Stormtroopers, or seeing a bunch of Jedi stun locking a Battle droid.

Then they had the bubble with its unique ability to stun almost every single time and this video clearly shows just how stupid the Bioware PvP team are.

Solution - each class to lose 2 stuns each.

1.6 will make or break PvP in this game and its about time they allowed us to actually engage in combat instead of a stun fest.

What are you talking about? My sniper can't stun anyone, root and snare, but not stun. At least if you have a ranged attack or you are a healer, you can still function. Are you saying my cover pulse and snare needs to be nerfed?

iSoldat you might want to level a bit before you say your class has no stuns. You have 2 roots, 2 knockbacks, snares, an 8 second mez(stun) and a 4 second stun.

Doesnt a sniper have a flash grenade? Engineers get a stun on IP+PP as well. And debilitate, isnt that a stun?
