Ok, ive got an oldish laptop (around 2 years) and im getting rid of it soon for a far more powerful desktop. But before that happens i have to play SWTOR on the laptop.

Its windows 7 and just not preforming well

I turn on the laptop, start up TOR, and for the first half hour - an hour everything is fine, 40 FPS, smooth.

But then it drops to around 10 and is all laggy.

I dont know what is causing the drop, any guesses?

Any good ways to improve the performance?

The graphics are all set to low

Thanks

I would be tempted to blame heat, but given how long it's performing "well" before causing issues....

What kind of laptop is it?
