@ OP........What did you expect? You are just the sort of person that EA loves, more cash than brains. The discussion regarding the ethics behind the cash grab boxes has gone on for a while. Its a scam plain and simple. No sympathy at all.

I ended up getting the mask on my 3rd pack. I probably should of saved it to sell but I ended up equipping it as it was one of the items I wanted. I could of cared less on the throne which I did not get. I also wanted the force master saber which I got and I also wanted the pink-purple crystal but got the endurance version which is not good for my sorc. Hopefully I can trade it for the power or crit version. I also got the blaster rifle and am unsure if I will sell it or use it.

As well as suggestions for other f2p games.. I personally remain enamored with this one.

Christmas is coming. Cartel Coin Gift Cards have been mentioned. Makes a great stocking stuffer, and funds the game we all love.

Note, you can buy unlocks for your f2p friends, and trade them to them.

Why are the forums and the general chat for swtor full of people who talk down to others every chance they get, and try to come off like they are smarter than everyone? If people want to spend their money on cartel coins, who cares? Some psychology studies show that people get more happiness in their lives from experiences rather than material possessions anyway. To everyone criticizing people about buying cartel coins: i guarantee you have wasted and will continue to waste your money on various things. I play this game to have fun and alleviate stress. That experience and all things in life are worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

Guess you won't be buying anymore then. These will never be purchasable with in-game credits and it's doubtful they would take away the chance of random. Based on what's seen so far this looks like it will be a good source of income and they won't turn that off.
