Why do I go from grade 1 (shadow silk) to grade 2 (lashaa silk), while missing cyrene silk (dunno the grade)?
Does the fabrics depend on the planet you're on?
Any help would be appretiated!

its not level dependent, you could be level 10 and have 400 crafting. the levels listed in the drop down panels is basically a suggested level as to what gear it will be used for
The Goa'uld Legacy Level 50 on Jedi Covenant (previously Canderous Ordo)
Imperial Entanglements
Less Imperial Entanglements
Check out LIE and IE: Galaxy Wide Casual Social Guilds

Every planet has different levels of mats. You better follow your class quests and other planet missions and gether your mats at the same time. It is better to level your character and crew skills simultaneously. Of course it is not necessary. Also you can send your companions to the missions and increase your skill level while gethering your mats.
All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible. Such people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted. - Frank Herbert

um, Luxury fabrics are from Underworld Trading - a mission only crew skill .
