Not what Pay 2 Win is. Cosmetic and fluff items dont help you win.

The only thing that COULD be considered P2W in the store is the +41 crystals at level 10. But even then, the difference is so negligible it's not worth complaining about or purchasing those crystals just for the stats.

If there were +51 crystals on the market, it would 100% be P2W (since you cant even get that at 50). f there was Campaign and War Hero gear on the market, I would also consider it Pay 2 Win. Pets, orange shells, and XP boosts are in no way P2W.
Roswin - 50 Jedi Sentinel | Vaelin - 50 Sith Juggernaut | Kordis - 50 Sith Marauder | Vaelis - 50 Sith Assassin | Tylus - 50 Sniper
| Vint - 43 Mercenary | Kiden - 35 Vangaurd | Skavic - 22 Jedi Sage |

I disagree. I know how market works and this is just another scam to make more money. If you really want to be true to your subscribing player base then you have them buy store items with in game currency and everyone else who is not subscribing with cartel coins. That way you reward your subscribers for paying regular monthly fee while still not giving them items from store for free.

The way it's setup right now is turning the game into pay to win. It might not look like it now but trust me 500 cc is nothing. Keep in mind that Bioware controls the prices so all they have to do is offer some cool items later for much more than 500 cc and suddenly you are making your subscribers pay even more per month... Typical market trick, i know because I do it every day. Basically the kid whose parents work for Wall Street will be able to beat a regular paying subscriber any day...
What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me.

'worth' is such a subjective term with these things. we are talking about pixel, don't forget that.

Yeh I might actually do that. I hate the whole scenario tbh, was happy to just pay a flat sub every month to support the running and development of the game. FTP brings too many issues to the table, cant keep eveyone happy and sometimes too many options just brings issues.

On the Internet, you can be anything you want. It is strange so many people choose to be stupid.

Oh they will be eventually. That's the point the model they are going with right now is moderate because they don't want to piss anyone off. But eventually they will offer anything that will make them profit regardless. That's the part you're missing... They have opened the door and now they just have to wait for us to fall asleep and BAM... Pay to win is here and we are not complaining anymore...

Because subscribers are going to get the small end of the stick when it comes to content...including items that are going to be offered on the store. Subscribers are only going to be here to subsidise those people that are playing for free and not using the item store and those free players that do but do not spend enough to pay for their game use. In other words, to me anyway, subscribers are not getting the full value of whatever the per month sub fee they may pay.
Before I read that, I was thinking in spent 200 dollars in Cartel Coins...

And as I have said before, when i HAVE to buy an item in the store in order to be competitive in the game is the same day that I cancel my sub and never play again.

500 a month is quite fair and it follows the industry norm (1/3 of subscription price equivalency).
