My hunch is that no one had actually thought to tell Gabe-the-PvP-Guy not to talk about same-sex romance so, being asked and knowing there is real interest in it, he answered. But Hall can't talk about it and slipped us that tweet anyway, taking a risk to get us some kind of word, then pulled it to cover his caboose.

Also, I profoundly hope that this is one of the "big unresolved issues" that Jeff Hickman is able to address. If anyone can get the leverage to be able to speak about this, I imagine he has it.

I will agree that "any news is better than no news". If it has been cancelled or indefinitely delayed, I honestly would rather know that and adjust my expectations accordingly. Never having heard anything on these forums ever is much worse than that.

SGRs means Same Gender Relationships, doesn't it?

Well, as long as that will make sense. Male SW x Quinn will probably make sense (due to his looks and responses he looks gay, sorta), but Pierce? No way.

What's wrong with Pierce, I feel he'd fit quite well for my warrior.
Wedge: "I don't like this notion of dovin basal mines that pursue you."
Han: "Me, either. I'm going to draft a strongly worded letter to the Yuuzhan Vong high commander and insist he stop using them."

Pierce is a fine piece of man. I was greatly disappointed by his unfinished romance for my female Sith Warrior. I hope they give him a same-sex romance, just so that I can find out more about him.

Wow...such arrogance.

It's almost as if you have an actual official confirmation from BW that SGR's are definitely being implemented rather than maybe half a dozen vague statements made by designers / writers that no longer work for the company.

You got an official source for confirmation that SGR's are even happening?

As for the issue of it being upcoming content it was declared as such earlier in the year. Those comments have not been rescinded, so while some of those people are no longer employed. The comments as such stay with Bioware regardless of whether or not those people are working there or not, as they made those comments as extensions of the company and not as private individuals. I repeat my earlier response of, the stock response mentions no new information. Wouldn't cancelling this upcoming feature count as new information relating to it?

While we can't say with 100% certainty that it is coming, we can at least say it with 80% certainty

I can only speak for my sith warrior, but there's no way in hell he would ever touch quinn.... pierce however... oh yeah, baby. (and my sith warrior is quite the 'manly man' as well, even if he's got a soft spot for Vette :P)

either way, I don't buy it when people claim they have a 'problem' with this for 'voice over' reasons. voice over is a matter of.. I don't know... a day.

I didn't see many complains about the voice-overs for ... emotes. I mean, which is more 'important'? more story content is a story driven game - or voiced emotes? (half the people will turn that off, anyway)

Meh, even if they do add SGRs in Makeb people will just start complaining that "I can't romance this specific one". So if they add it w/e if they don't w/e. I just pretend my "Male" is actually just a really masculine women with a deep voice and reduced breast development

heh, I guess that's a risk that they've got to take. I mean it's not like it's any different right now. someone brought up something interesting a while ago in regards to this: why can we romance a female twi'lek but not a male one?
