Having said that, I'd think "X+10 days = When" is a pretty fine rule to go by. Where X is a date. F2P is basically a new Launch for the game. No way will they do it without building bit of a hype. Date will be given over a week in advance. There is never any reason for a thread like " so! Uhh scheduled maintanence in 3 days wonder if we get it?!" to exist. Answer is always no.. as long as you are not seeing a massive DATE plastered all over TOR homesite on your way to post the question.

I for one don't mind waiting a little bit longer for 1.5. They are obviously working on it, and it will be released when its ready. I think people forget that they have to give us a timeframe on when the new content is going to be released, but seeing as how they cannot pinpoint a specific date it will be released they do something called 'estimate' the time. For those of you who dont understand..... They did not give an exact release date, so they arent "late" on delivering this content, and obviously they will release it as soon as its finished. Until then suck it up, if you don't like it, you dont have to play this game, but whinning about it isnt getting it fixed any faster. Instead of spending time QQing on the forums about its release date, why dont you do something useful and maybe spend the time on PTS helping them find bugs and testing it, if you dont want to do that, then either find something else to do with yourself for a couple weeks, or continue playing what we currently have.

Timeframe he gives can literally be anything between 1-100 days or so. " Stay tuned" " Coming Soon" when have phrases like these ever ment anything?` I mean, come on!

Thread says that gamona (german gaming site) had phone conference with Bioware and 1.5 will be released 11.13.2012.

Hyperbole will get you nowhere. It won't be a half a year. It is on the PTS and it hasn't been over 6 weeks since the announcement. Maybe 4. Also they did say "In the future, after f2p we plan to AIM for 6 week content updates."

1.5 is done, it is now just being bug fixed. Once they debug it rest assured it will be live.

Hmm... This has been covered here and elsewhere thouroughly. 1.5 is due to be released as part of F2P which has always been in November. And they are on track. 1.5 has been on the Public Test Server for more than 3 weeks now including content updates. In addition, the Cartel Market has been a part of the test release and the different modes from sub to preferred to pay as you go have been tested.

So, yea. Any claims of broken promises with regard to 1.5 are at best premature. In all honesty, I expected the release this week, but they held off. Whatever their reasons (hopefully they are crushing more bugs), the release is imminent. I wouldn't be surprised if it drops next week. But even if it does not. The timeline given prior to the last event is still in play.

Before you start complaining about another broken promise you should really use the search feature in the forums. It may give you the answers you are looking for and avoid any misinformation and QQ in general.

Gamona had a phone call with Blaine Christine and Cory Butler from Bioware and they said f2p and 1.5 will be live on the server on 11.15.2012 .

LOL YAY 1.5 and F2P!!!

First no one said they were coming together, 2nd besides a white version of your already green armor that you'll like for 5 min for the low price of $7, there's no new content so who cares when it's coming.
