Data Cores on Master Control TFB are bugged.

They are almost alway unaffected by Smash, making Rage Juggernauts useless in the fight. Smash is not missing, it's just not hitting - damage is not applied and all my buffs (Shockwave) are still up.

They aren't only buggy for Juggs.
Basically any AoE isn't affecting them.

If you drop the AoE in a particular spot, it does work, but it doesn't seem to be reliable or consistent. As the previous poster pointed out, all AoEs appear to be bugged in this fight. This, among other things, basically nukes balance/madness spec sages/sorcs and shadows/assassins.

There are ways to make AOEs work. You need to aim the reticule so that the outer edge of it is overlapping the core. Then it applies.

To overcome the bug, you have to target your AoE slightly away from the datacore. If you center it at the core, it may not hit.
