The interview linked on the first page.

I'm having to make guesses from what has already been stated, but I do believe it has been mentioned that a lot of the story, that being class, the war, planetary lines and the PvE/PvP story content, has already been written and, to a certain extent, recorded. We were informed that SGRA's had not been completed in time for release and would therefore be released after launch, which implies that they had not finished the coding, rather than building it from scratch (which is furthered in the above interview).

Of course nothing I can say is concrete because we have not really been given anything concrete by Bioware, hence why we ask.
Well..if swtor is notorious for anything, it is the speculations made by players from very little information, this is true for alot of features in the game. And it is even more notorious for getting peoples hopes up only to dissapoint later on

In any case only time will tell if SGR ever sees they light of day in swtor, and even if it dosent, its still a great game.

Yup, that's why we pester them for concrete information, and I certainly don't believe such measures should be restricted to this content. The APAC players, for instance, have been very much ignored for a very long time.

Perhaps, but I don't feel it would be representative of what EA and Bioware seem to be trying to do with their games: overcome the idea that a 'gamer' is a straight, white, cis-man.

Thank you There are times when hope is all we have. I expect that the PTS forums will light up when SGRA's hit there - certainly if replies to this and other threads are any indication, the Community Team and forum moderation squad will have their work cut out for them.

I think he was being sarcastic.

It should be fun to see the PTS forums when it hits, especially to see the anguish on their faces knowing there's nothing they can do to stop it. I'll be enjoying my DS romance with Jaesa then, haha.

Why does this matter? There is no sex in the game. All this effort so that you can see two dudes or two chicks walk off the screen then walk back on the screen a few seconds later smoking a cigarette. I mean really. This is not important.
Anything that is done repetitively can be done by a computer. That is why right brained people will eventually rule the world.

Yes because sex is the reason we want this in-game.....

Let me broaden the reasons behind this:

1.We want to be able to play our game the same way heterosexuals can, before TOR. that was never a problem.
2.Companions are important to some people and sometimes not to others(clearly).
3.They have stated over and over that Companions are going to start making much bigger differences in your gameplay over time, if we can get SGRAs sooner rather than later, we will be able to enjoy that content just as much as others.
4.At the moment, when you play your character, you have the choice of being heterosexual or celibate(besides a few scenes), excellent amount of variation there.

Sarcasm or no, I'll be trying to meet such attempts to put me or others who want this content, with polite responses and general optimism.

It certainly won't be easy and it probably won't be worth it, but that doesn't matter, I shouldn't allow myself to be made upset by trolls

And PTS forum anguish is one of the reasons why we want information before SGRA's get released on the PTS. Having the information in the public domain before hand will (hopefully) prevent a lot of people from feeling that LGB-positive content has been sunk in through the back door, as it were. Bioware may be attempting to avoid controversy now, but there will be more controversy later because of that.
