Did I hear this right?

This..and also I dont see it being in patch 1.5 or any other pacth. I know alot of people want this, but I honestly think BW/EA are just letting out little hint about it all from time to time, just to keep those who wants this hopes up. But in reallity this is just to string you along so they cant keep you as subsribers.

As Uluain already mentioned, Ms. Berryman has stated that we can use this thread as well as the original in Story and Lore.

And because everyone's being so negative (again), let's talk about the re-written dialogue.

If he becomes an SGR, do you expect that romance to be as straightforward? (sex->work-work...) Or something more involved?

Yeah ok, this is hardly a verification on anything.
A writer saying he likes to write stories..omg what a surprise. And then you have a PvP developer comment on something that is clearly not something he has anything to do with, so I wouldnt put anything in what he said, he was probably just trying to get the interviewer of his back.

Mr. Hood's removed tweets and Mr. Amatengelo's unsure answers are why we are asking for further confirmation and clarification. Mr. Amatengelo's "maybe, not really sure, but I think" is the closest we have had to any new information since the March Guild Summit, when the community was informed that SGRA's would be released "this year".

It is believed that Makeb will be a story-content patch and we have been able to gather that SGRA's would likely be released with a story-content patch, as they are story-content. We only ask about the release date because of Mr. Amatengelo's comments; there are many other questions we have (re: implementation) that have not been acknowledged or addressed.

Fair enough mate..I understand you would like some more info on this, just as we all have certain features and add we would like info on.
But to be honest, as I have before in other posts about this and been hated quite a bit for it, I dont think SGR is likely to ever find its way into swtor.
I know BW as earlier said that it will, but content like this that only appealing to a small group of the fanbase, is just not like to get any priority from the devs. Sure it will upset the people who wants this, but these days I think have greater concerns than pleasing a minority of the fan base.

If it does get in thats fine with me, but to me its wont be a logical choice from the devs to put an effort into this particular piece of content.

At this point in time, if we take Mr. Amatengelo's words to be correct, then Bioware have already recorded and coded the content and are now looking for a suitable release date.

I personally would like to assume that from Bioware and EA's pro-LGBT content in previous games and their pro-LGBT stance generally, that SGRA's will be introduced into the game. All the changes, the issues and the problems that SWTOR has had since release are what make me wonder when, which is why I ask and, I imagine, part of the reason that others ask as well.

I don't have any figures for the number of people who want this content in - I assume you do? I can picture the Community Team doing another one of their awful Facespace surveys for it - so I'm not really going to discuss that, but I do like to think that there is a significant number of people who are apathetic to its introduction. Why would that be beneficial? Because they won't damn Bioware or EA for introducing the content.

And to reiterate, none of us have specifically called for this content to be prioritized over bug fixes, as it would be rather pointless to introduce the content and then not have anyone able to play it as they crash or disconnect every ten minutes. As to having this in place of PvE or PvP content, I think that would be somewhat pointless as well: Operations appear to be something near a quarterly or six-monthly release schedule (I can, if people want, get definite release dates of previous Ops and extrapolate from there) with PvP content following similarly behind, but seemingly not close enough. If story content is on a yearly release schedule, that's fine, that would put Makeb in this December.

Obviously I dont have any exact numbers on this, but I agree that most people are quite indifferent about this content. I havent met anyone in game that actually wanted SGR, but then again they had no objections to it. But since so many people are indifferent about it, I dont see any reason they would add it.
I dont see this being about weather or not BW dont want people to freak out about them adding this content, is about them not spending time of something that only a "small" group of players actually want. If so many dont care about there is simply no logical reason for adding it.

But anyway..since you know they have already made all this content, you must know more than me about this.

I'm having to make guesses from what has already been stated, but I do believe it has been mentioned that a lot of the story, that being class, the war, planetary lines and the PvE/PvP story content, has already been written and, to a certain extent, recorded. We were informed that SGRA's had not been completed in time for release and would therefore be released after launch, which implies that they had not finished the coding, rather than building it from scratch (which is furthered in the above interview).

Of course nothing I can say is concrete because we have not really been given anything concrete by Bioware, hence why we ask.

I believe the information on that will start coming once they begin promoting Makeb, which should be in patch 1.6. For now the focus is set on 1.5 and the Cartel Coins Market. In about a month we should start hearing whether or not Makeb will bring full blown and well implemented SGRA's. Daniel Erickson did say that it will come within 2012 and Makeb/1.6 is supposed to be the last content patch for 2012. Then again he's no longer in the developer team and we can't know if that information would still be accurate.

I am hoping that after 1.5 drops live (which is... sooner than soon™?) we will start hearing more about Makeb and SGRA's. I still feel that it will be rather late (I hold that SGRA's should have been available at launch) and that the entire subject could have been handled a lot better.

It's a waiting game I'd rather we not have to play.
