hey need to make them BTL and also usable by all levels (with appropriate mods).
This. Why the bloody hell would I shell out money for an outfit when I can just buy a similar one at the GTN? Make them wearable from level 1 or 10 so people can trick out their characters the way they want and play through the story with a certain 'look' vs waiting till 50 and the story content is all dried up and who cares what you look like then because it's all about the raid gearzzz.

The only good thing is that the gear is adaptive so you have a few more options. HOWEVER, they are still level gated. Which sucks. If I want to rip the mods out and put noob mods in so my level 10 Jedi Knight can go through the story and cinematics looking the way i want, WHY ARE YOU STOPPING ME

I had suggested a few level one outfits myself.

It would be nice if they were bound to legacy, but I don't think this serves their purpose well for EA/BW - to sell things in the cash shop.

Chest pieces, for example, are priced as a fraction of the monthly subscription allocation. At this price point, I think it's designed to encourage multiple purchases if someone chooses to do so, and fair.

Though, honestly, how many characters would you want the same armor for?

And again, though I might be missing a point, the items unbind after 5 days. Then they are freely tradeable.

Unless I'm missing something that means you can buy it for one character, realize you made a mistake, then send it to another...now, grant it, you can't keep sending it to new characters when the old one outlevels the gear, and if that is the intent then I would have to say I think that is unnecessary. Just my opinion naturally.

Bound to Legacy is IMO less of a problem than the gear being LEVEL GATED, when gear that looks almost EXACTLY ALIKE is available at the gated levels. Why would you pay for them with real money when you can get them cheap as hell off GTN or with a few warzone commendations at almost the same level???? They should be available at level 1-10.

Some of the gear types are only available to the Republic or Empire.

For example, an agent chest that is selling doesn't really look out of place on a Republic character, and currently is unavailable.

Then it shouldn't be a big deal to be BoL then, right? As I said before, what it does is add value to the armor, makes it more appealing to buy, because I have some room to make some use of it if I decided to buy new armor later or maybe figured it suited a different character. If you want people to start forking over some serious real life coinage, make it more appealing, especially if you are promoting 12 character slots for subscribers.

For subscribers, yes. This is something they should do for us. It might also be a little extra incentive for the free players to buy a sub.

It would have been nice, IMO, to make orange gear versions that are also adaptive, which would make them highly prized and desired items, then offer them at level one.

Since they do not offer the same armor with different levels (as far as I could see) this would not hurt the profitability of the current setup IMO. As far as I understand there are no Orange gear items in the game that are adaptive at this time.

Adaptive orange gear is the ultimate appearance item IMO...and selling it as a level one item would give it very low mods, so not a game breaker.

I support binding to legacy (along with most other moddable gear), as long the ability to trade outside one's account is maintained.
