Maybe they are concentrating on something more important than pumpkins not related to SW at all?

well they did say after the first rakghoul event that they would have events pop up without telling people. which IMO is stupid.

How about a haunted long lost space craft in the outer rims. Imps and republic want to find out what happened there. No power in the ship no lights, lots of puzzled, and moaning/groaning from some lost long ago sith lord bent on revenge, toss in some droids creepy music and smoke. If you come as a group you are all split up to wonder the maze that is the ship. Some force levitating ship parts. Some blood on the walls, a new model of creepy space monster. classic scarey, stuff jumping from around corners, scary music.

At the end you ghost bust the sith lord trap him in a datacron, did someone call ghost busters?

Bam haunted house SWTOR style

The Halloween and moderated live radio events by Gridstream in TSW are a lot of fun, pretty similiar to SWG actually.
Maybe someone should do a halloween radio special in TOR

If that was the case they should have hired devs instead of firing them huh?

Man... so many people in this thread are such grumps... lol

I personally love MMO holidays because, like lots of posters before me have said, part of the reason why I play MMOs is to feel like I'm part of a living, breathing world. If that world never changes, it feels horribly stagnant, and all the lore-friendly questlines in the world won't make it feel less stagnant if there's never anything new going on in the digital world around me.

I say this as a very serious roleplayer and lifelong Star Wars fan/more recent canon nerd.

I agree I don't really want to see pink winged ewoks in this game, but a creepy themed event for Halloween or some sort of festival to coincide with Christmas would be lovely. A little bit of creativity goes a long way. I can think of a billion ways to Star Wars-ify holidays without bringing in jack-o-lanterns and santa hats.

Also, guess what: if there's a creepy holiday that coincides with Halloween, and this offends your delicate hardcore super serious gamer sensibilities, you don't have to participate. And then everyone is happy! Hooray!
