Halloween Event?

I'd actually be fine with in-game holidays as long as they were not re-hashes of "real" holidays. WoW actually did the holiday thing rather well and it energized the players, but this isn't WoW. I thought it was especially cool that on New Years Eve, at Midnight Server Time, there were fireworks over Stormwind and Orgrimmar.

For this game, a Republic/Imperial "Patriot Day" seems to be a no-brainer for a government-run holiday, especially since it's full-on war now. Event questing could tie in with capturing "traitors" in the capitol cities, honoring the fallen or increased WZ rewards. They could bring back the old moddable Champion gear as a reward Bind on Legacy with the usual crystals/shinies.

Ok, yeah I'm bored. But it still would work

Please, no freekin holiday events, lets keep this at least a little grownup ( normal events at other times of the year is highly appreciated though)

What grown ups dont like holidays? If being grown up means you have a stick in your buttt and have to be serious all the time then i guess im still a kid at 48. I love the events.

That aside, so far I've not really been that impressed with their events. They wouldn't do a real Halloween event as they've said they will not break the fourth wall. If we had a planet like Dathomir they could definitely cook up something in context without B4W.

Just do something else Star Wars related, instead of "another Halloween event" -.-

I'm amazed no one has mentioned Death Troopers or Red Harvest yet. Wouldn't something along those lines make decent halloween events?

The holiday special is core canon, it is in fact the only thing AS canon as the 6 films.

And Death Troopers for Halloween, hell yeah but I guess that would be too much effort like a hood toggle or companions riding in 2 seat taxis.
