FPs, Ops, and especially WZs are not what I consider expansion worthy (we should be getting those periodically anyways), even when lumped together with a new planet. A new planet with level cap increase maybe could be considered an expansion, but if the content of the new planet isn't big enough to be considered an expansion on its own, no number of flashpoints or warzones thrown in with it would change my opinion of that.

In other words, they can't just bundle up a bunch of smaller, unlrelated things and call it an expansion. I'll cry foul if they do, it would just mean they have stuff ready but held out on us. Warzones can't be part of an expansion either, you need everyone to have access to all warzones, not just people that paid for an expansion.

They have 3 tiers of access. Free means lots of limited stuff, and have to pay for DLC. Spend 5 bucks and become premium and have better privileges. Still pays for DLC. Finally, actual subscribers are at the top and literally access all new DLC for free.

Boxed expansions a la JTL, TBC, WotLK? Yes, of course

I'll answer that for you.... yes they do.
Well in most F2P games if you sub you should have enough coins to buy any expansions with those, so they don't in that case.
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

I have no problems paying for expansions if it is truly an expansion. If it is smaller and more filler then anything else, i dont mind paying either but rather pay a bit less 5 to 10 bucks depending on quality and content.

I am not to sure how many of you're old eq2 players and remember the adventure packs or w/e they were called (mistmore, split paw, and the asian theme one), they cost 10 bucks, and provided a decent filler until the new expansion came out..they added one or two new abilities, and a small set of quests... and for the most part one new quest hub with a few small instances parting off of that.

In the end though, SoE felt like the adventure packs werent worth the effort, not to sure why to be honest.

Yes if the expansion is of this caliber or better

EverQuest: The Ruins of Kunark
Release date April 24, 2000

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EverQue...uins_of_Kunark

In terms of the game, The Ruins of Kunark had a very different visual feel compared to the original zones in EverQuest: the color palette was more vibrant and many of the models used for the monsters were more detailed. This detail was most evident in the Iksar, a new playable race of lizard people introduced with the expansion.[1] The Iksar had a number of racial advantages, including the ability to stay underwater for longer periods of time, additional regenerative powers, and an armor bonus. This was balanced by the fact that they were hated by all of the other races in the game and that there were very few places they could go without being attacked. They also could not wear plate armor.

The Kunark expansion also increased the maximum level a character could attain from 50 to 60, and introduced a substantial number of new and powerful monsters for characters above level 50 to fight.[2] The most notable of these was Veeshan's Peak, a zone populated by dragons that was, at its release, declared to be the hardest zone that would be put into EverQuest. In reality, the zone quickly was surpassed by other zones released in further expansions, and is in fact not used often by players.

Another notable and deep dungeon is Sebilis, the lair of the undead dragon Trakanon, which required players to level past the previous limit and obtain improved gear introduced in the expansion.

The Ruins of Kunark was also the focus of 'epic quests', or quests for powerful weapons for each character class, which were introduced between the Kunark and Velious expansions as a source of further high-end content.

The Kunark expansion was unique in its method of distribution. A player would order the expansion from Verant's online store, and it was then shipped directly to the player's home. Unforeseen shipping delays caused many players to miss the expansion's official opening date. Thereafter, most EverQuest expansions were either available in local stores, or downloaded directly from Verant, many weeks before the official opening date.

Yes an expansion should be a paid for by everyone, in lotro everone pays for expansions, I am not talking about the little free content updates, I am talking about full expansions.
Do not dwell in the past, do not not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

Expectations lead to suffering

As subscriber, I don't mind paying for a level cap increase. But not for anything else than that.
