For me the issue isn't how easy and quickly that you can get the BH gear, it's the implementation of it allowing you to get it through dailies and FPs. This means that all Operations except EC are rendered irrelevant as you no longer need any gear from them at all.

They should have separated Flashpoint and gear bought from daily comms from Operation gear.

I totally agree. In TOR there is no "wow" while you looking on other players. Everybody got everything and everybody can get that everything really fast. I really miss that feeeling when you met somebody who got something rare or unique which can be obtain only very hardly and path to it is long, but it 100% worth in the end.

Like tamed dragon in UO or something like that

If you don't have time so ... why the hell you playing MMO? I really don't get it. If you want everything quick and now, go play multiplayer FPS or single-player games.

There is no progression worth talking about as the gear progression is chaotic and non-linear (you can get higher end gear doing simple dailies than more difficult raids meaning most raids are skipped), there is no gear upgrading using previous gear (yes you can swap out mods but I miss needing a full set of tier 1 to combine with components to create tier 2 etc).

The Operations and Flashpoints are not interlinked, I prefer a plains of power style of progression where you need to get a drop from the end boos of raid 1 before you can enter raid 2.

The game is reduced to queuing systems and teleports, to me the Ops, Fps and Wzs are as much minigames as the space combat system. They are quite separate from the MMO world and for me don't feel like part of the game.

Try Eve. There is no progression gear, and having used the same ship for a long time is a point of pride. The lowest common denominator in that game are the people who rage quit after a month when someone blows up their Drake.

That is the fault of the model, though. It has to be easy for a new level 50 to get into the latest raid where most people play. Back in 1.2 before I quit with PvE altogether, I did not enjoy steamrolling through KP and EV HMs and NMs just to ensure that we have more people with gear for the latest tier.

The only game that has done this well, in my opinion, was WoW-TBC. Throughout the entire expansion, guilds were on different levels. There was perhaps two or three that actually raided the very last tier on my server. Some were stuck in T6, others in T5 and some in T4. They had the playerbase to support such a model, but obviously they thought it flawed since they introduced "Badge Gear", which is essentially what the BH gear is.

I for one would want to see gear progression completely removed at end game, and focus on other rewards such as titles, pets, mounts, moddable items, and heck, would be awesome if we could get something to pimp out our ships with.

When I dinged 50 on my latest alt I ran a EC SM and then a EC HM during that very day and thus had full campaign about 4-5 hours after I reach lvl 50, so hell yes, it is to easy to get good gear. I think you should be able to get the "best" gear only from last boss (or maybe last two) in operations, and then the rest of the bosses could drop cookies for all I care.

It really kills the game a little that you can craft the gear and be able to buy all the BiS gear without entering a operation. Money rules the world!

As its not really the 'top' gear anymore, its just the standard gear.
I guess I could agree with that. I feel I should be able to be get good enough to gear to be viable and decent for end game stuff, but the very best gear? I can understand your point of view on that.

I love this argument, "game is boring because on day I hit 50 I got carried trough all content and got all gear and now don't have anything to do, because ops are boring once you got gear."
So 7 other people thinking same wasy as you decide to grab you and pull you trough that content so you can be as bored as them, and you can all whine together? Or maybe there is someone that, gasp, simply enjoys raiding? Nah, that's impossible, this must be guild of terrible villains that enjoy destroying game for each other.
