Sub price is to high when F2P comes

So use the cartel coins to unlock what you like, they'll be earn-able in-game so you won't be wasting money, ta-dah.

I find it kind of funny that so many people are screaming that the people wanting true F2P are cheapskates or that their parents are paying for their sub, ect. Let me give you a little bit of a real-world experience: I am a college student, back in school for my SECOND AND THIRD degrees after graduating and being unable to find a job(Computer Science, back in for Small Business Administration and Office Administration). To date since my first graduation a year and a half ago, I've put out over 200+ applications, hearing back from only 15 which told me that I wouldn't get the position due to a lack of experience or a lack of various expensive certifications. I work a part-time job where I'm lucky to get $200 a month, just enough to cover my cell bill, gas cost, and car payment to get me back and forth to school. I do not qualify for Pell grants, and I pay my way through college on tuition scholarships that thankfully cover my lab and facility costs as well.

Stop thinking everyone screams for entitlement. Some of us honestly don't have the cash and don't have the means to procure it. I was able to get this month's sub from fixing a computer down the street, the first call I've gotten for a computer repair in four months.

To that end, I feel that the $15 I have to spend on SWTOR had better be damn well worth the money, and currently, I don't feel that. Even leveling up characters from 1 to 50 is boring with little to no break from the boredom of grinding, save for space missions, flash points, and war zones, which, of course, will be limited with the new FTP restriction. Personally, and I know I'm going to get eaten by a rancor for saying so, I do think that SWTOR is worth some sort of sub a month, but definitely not 15 bucks.

I've heard about this(being able to buy cartel coins in-game), but I am wary that the cost-conversion ratio will not be balanced. Time will tell, I suppose. Also, thanks, I hope things get better soon too.

I've read every interview about this topic, and they've consistently said that they want subscriptions to be the most attractive option. They never once said the price of subscriptions was too much. Some people don't like making that commitment, but feel comfortable with micro-transactions, therefore they want to give people different *options*.

Most games that created a F2P option still have a monthly sub option, which is the same price, and free players have limitations. What they do in the future will lately alter based on the research that comes out of this transition.

Yes, this game should be no more then $9.99 a month once F2P hits. that will get more ppl to sub once they start playing F2P and im sure EA wants that steady income each month. The days of $14.99 a month needs to end, just my 2 cents
