I have been playing online games since I was around 18. I am now 41 (sadly). In that entire time, I have never, ever, seen heard or experienced a game (including free games) that have so many serious bugs that go unaddressed for so long.

This current week, lvl 50 pvp on my server is actually not even possible. For the whole week, and it's still ongoing.

As if that wasn't bad enough, for the entire time I have returned to the game after a long hiatus (since April, and I've been back for a couple of weeks now) there has been another pvp issue, which affects all warzones (even the lower level ones, which are the only things you can even play on my server because of ANOTHER massive bug). That is, if people queue and don't actually join, they still take up room in the warzone group. Absolutely ridiculous and makes for an extremely unenjoyable experience. I happen to know for a fact that the imperials, being well aware of the issue, are using characters with multiple accounts to deliberately cause this problem to give their alts easy wins.

What has bioware done about any of these problems? Absolutely nothing - except, perhaps, shutdown threads like this one. I have news for you: shutting down threads does not fix your problems or make players unaware that they exist. We know alright, we can't even play this game because of them.

This is just some of the issues bothering me right now, but that doesn't even scratch the surface of the bugs present in this game.

Without a doubt, this is the worst implemented and maintained MMO in history. It has some good ideas, and I do like some things about the game or I wouldn't even be bothering to post, but dear god, the lack of urgency in fixing problems makes me reluctant to even consider touching a game developed by you people ever again. The only communication I receive is your lack of action - this makes me think bioware simply doesn't care - am I wrong? It's been almost a year and you have been only getting even slower at addressing problems.

Fix the game and stop trying to hide the state it's in.

I agree there are a lot of bugs that seriously need fixing...because I've read about them here, I haven't actually experienced that many recently myself, but I know they exist. Most the bugs I encountered stopped happening around 1.2. I am sympathetic towards people that are dealing with those issues interrupting their gaming experience.

However, I can also say that as someone that has played another MMO for many years, I had far worse and far more frequent bugs there than I ever had in swtor....I could probably type up a page worth of bugs, crashes, exploits, glitches, etc... and that was even with numbers peaking at 12 million. My point being I don't think this game's stability is so atrocious as some are making it out to be. Some set ups are going to have more issues than others, but probably not the majority of people. If they aren't fixing the problem in a timely manner, it could come back to video card manufacturers response to work with them and not just Bioware's own technicians.

You are, obviously, right. These bugs are simple switches that a random BW drone may switch at any moment if they should feel inclined to do so and not probably complicated issues that has led to a lot of head scratching on their side ... seriously, what are they thinking!

You obviously never played Champions Online.

When it came out, end-game was completely broken, PvP was a bad joke, and it had more bugs than a 2 week-old corpse.

On top of that, Cyptic Studios ABONDONED Champions Online, including ALL customer service, pulling all the personnel from that game to start up Star Trek Online.

Yet, their games are still online, and people are playing them.

If this game was made to be PvP-centric, I might feel for you. But its a PvE-centric game, so I don't.

The problem of this game is filled with childs who's "dadys" pay the monthly fee so everything is allright.

The game is a pile of stinking bugcrap but ..."Ey no worries is just 0,50 day!" or "Other games were worst at 2005"

If they are charging us 15 month we have all the right to complain.

2m of lost customers means something.
SWG----------------- 8 years played, 7 active accounts at June 2011.
SWTOR------------- 6 months played. BACK ONLY FOR PATCHS .

BW...Something is failing here, don't you think?

If you don't like it, feel free to join them. Your attitude sounds awfully juvenile, speaking of kids whose folks pay the bills. Bugs happen. They can take months to hunt down. BioWare is working on them, resolving them as they are able and still pushing out new content. The game is nine months old. If you can't be patient, go ahead and sign off. There will be plenty of new games to hate out for Christmas.

The game as it stands is worth $15 a month to me. Yes, I want to see improvements, but I think people overlook and undervalue the improvements we've already seen. They also make too much of the content locusts who descended on the game at launch, played through at a breakneck pace, got to 50 and not having stopped to think that this was an MMO that was brand new were disappointed that it wasn't deep on endgame and left. The game has an audience who has and will stick with it. Are you in that number? Or are you just here to complain?

I am a daddy. I play here with my wife, her brother, and my daughter. We love this game. World of Warcraft could never hold our subscriptions more than 6 months, we played it on & off for 5 years, had a love/hate relationship with it.
We tried LotrO, EVE, City of Heroes, Champions Online, none had what it took to hold our subscriptions.

My brother-in-law and I got in on late beta in October (just in time for my birthday!), my wife and daughter got an account in December, and we've been playing non-stop ever since!

Every single MMO that has launched, did so as a rough product, with bugs and annoyances. I've yet to buy any software off the shelf that didn't require regular updating to iron out bugs and increase performance.

Even the monster of MMOs, WoW, was as buggy as hell when it launched. They had server crashes and multiple issues at launch. It took them a good two years to get a polished product, and they had way more staff working on that game than SW:TOR has.

Granted, there are bugs, annoyances, and reasons to complain. You can either complain constructively, or just make noise like an upset child.

I mean, hey, it worked for Chewbacca.
