For those thinking they should be able to use their HK-51 on a lower level toon...stop thinking that.

If they did that they'd have to go back and change every quest conversation for every quest in the game (including class quests).

The other option would be to just have him be like the ship droid and not have any story effects in the game. I don't think people would want to level with HK-51 if you had to put him away for every quest dialogue.

I'm curious if he will have any affections gains/losses in any of the repeatable content. If not, then we better start stocking up on gifts to use and/or sell. I don't know that we needed another companion with a preference for weapons either. They should let us dump our imperial/republic memorabilia on him.

Dulfy are you able to test whether or not having a blaster rifle or sniper rifle (assuming the same stats/rating) alters how much damage he does or is it just a personal preference thing?
