It's interesting how bad news and negativity will get pages and pages of feedback, but when we get good news most of the feedback are still complaints on how the op didnt put together his words right, for example. Well ok not that interesting. I guess we're like this about everything in life.

Yay, they have a good publicist. Too bad that in no way translates to us (whom pay their bills) somehow getting more than a bug filled and inferior product.

TOR is still the best MMORPG to come out in a while. Secret world bored everyone to death and WOW's latest addon hasn't sold even half as good as previous ones. Guild wars 2 didn't really bring anything amazing either after the silly amount of hype it got :/

Sci-fi games never do as good as fantasy ones no matter how good they are though.

Where is the longest loading times award. That would be 5 awards, I'm seriously disappointed.
Game is about go F2P. Coincident? Yup, it is indeed.

False: Mists of Pandaria sales top 2.7m, WoW subscriber numbers return to 10m

Quote:
The bottom line is that this is a solid first week’s sales, and that Blizzard will likely hope for even better numbers following the Chinese launch. It would be interesting to look at these sales figures as a percentage of the playerbase. Cataclysm’s sales of 3.3 million, although in the first 24 hours of release, were roughly a 27.5% uptake on the total player base of 12 million, while Mists of Pandaria’s 2.7 million first week sales indicate approximately a 29.5 % uptake based on a subscriber base of 9.1 million (subscriber numbers based on battle.net and Brean Murray’s recent figures). Of course, it should be noted that these sales compare one-day sales to one-week sales, but nonetheless, an encouraging start for the latest expansion.
Sales for MoP are near Cata.

They would have won "Best at ignoring community" award too! Darn the lack of nominations.

Still no word on dead server transfers (Jung Ma)
And dev tracker has maybe 2 posts a day.
Leathality Operative and Hatred (Madness) Assassin for 5 years running.

This is a great game.

People just don't know how good it is until they try others.
Quoted for truth.

Though i knew that since the start. After playing the stuck-in-ancient times WoW for years and seeing the epic snorefest that is GW2... it became clear this is the best MMO. I like playing TERA aswell, but that is a more hardcore game and has a couple of glaring problems.

I find funny going on about: OMg they should win the loading times award, they should win the ignore community award. These people arent beeing serious. They totally ignore the game they are playing and focus on what it annoys them. Yes it needs better optimization, and the communication has improved... id you notice you actually have a pretty fun to play game here? Wich you play for hours? As opposed to the few seconds on the loading times... talk about beeing dense.

There are a handful of live servers left (few of which are not very active), with nearly 2 million lost subs, how is that considered "rumor" lol?

Seems to be quite true.

A dying game has nothing to do with how many awards are won. NOTHING.

An analogy (not perfect) is comparing a critically acclaimed movie to the summer blockbuster. The artsy movie wins the awards but doesn't stay in theaters long enough due to lack of interest. The blockbuster makes the money and stays around because enough people see it.

How many subscribers (or players for f2p) means way more about a game dying. In fact it is the only thing worth looking at.

How have those sub number been lately.

I've glad you've won awards and I think they are deserved . . . . . . . but they don't prove anything about the game dying.

Maybe more people will come when its F2P because of the awards (for a time).
