Another issue is that this game is now in "operation" mode. Many of the programmers initially involved are either on other projects or fired, now that the release is done.

They tried to hotfix something with servers live, didn't work, servers went down. Will go up... soon.

But nothing keeps us amused like a healthy dose of paranoia, does it? So disregard the above and carry own. Still 6 GB to go for PTS.

I just tried to log in again and see if by chance I could squeak in, no such luck but i did get a small patch DL before I hit the offline server list. I bet they were trying to patch something and broke the client... I wonder if they lost all our toons.

Asia is probably still up because it was likely the last servers that were supposed to get the patch. It's extremely likely that today's patch, which was supposed to be installed with no server shutdown, is broken and crashed all of the servers it has been installed on. The admins realized something was wrong with the patch before putting it on the Asian servers, so they stopped the install.

Been over three hours hopefully they will have some more information for us soon. Must have an idea of what has happened and how much longer it will take to fix it.

I know we are supposed to put positive comments on the forums so please take this as an honest recommendation for improving your product.

Quality Control. It is a process. Good companies use it well and understand it. Bad companies, well, don't. It is readily apparent to all of us who play this game that your patch QC process is terrible. Truly awfully terrible. Blow it up and start over again with this process. I can not think of one patch that didn't break something in the game. Not one. So your QC success rate is 0%. Obviously a problem there.
