HK-51 Acquired!

I'm still holding out hope that there are VO's for HK while fighting, and that they just are glitched or not on the server yet. *Crosses fingers*

Yeah. I looked over all the info I could find and he has some really cool abilities that seem like they will make him THE DPS companion to have, but when I watched the videos, although he was kicking *** it seemed very boring with just the electronic whirring. T7-01's clicks and sounds were at least fun and familiar even if you have to look at text to see what he said. The HK videos seemed very drab.

If this is how it will be I'll be fairly upset that they spent the money for the quest voice-overs, the story-arc voice-overs and then couldn't scrape up a little more to add these simple ones. Hell, I would've chosen these over the story-arc as you only get to see/hear those once...

EDIT: I will admit that it might be possible that they simply have them turned off on the PTR to give folks a surprise when it actually goes live. That would seem plausible and would be perfectly fine with me - but it would be nice to at least hear them say that that's the case.

I also hope that's the case, pal. HK-51 would too much to waste if it doesn't have some lines or some voice-over. Let's hope is a nice surprise when it actually comes into the normal game.

Of course, it would be even better if it could be obtained from new characters at lower levels. Oh, well, let it call me "meat bag" a few times and we'll be perfectly happy.

C'mon, really - hard mode FP's? Ah, well....I guess I'll be doing Ops after all for gear....really not looking forward to that.

HK-51 has at least 76 one-liners relating to combat, summoning, dismissing, gifting, and missions (and maybe equipping gear) so I'm not sure why they aren't being heard on the PTS.

P.S. HK-51 doesn't like it when you jump around, apparently.

I'm still hoping that he'll be a part of Legacy at release.

I really want to run around Coruscant at Level 14 with him.

As of right now you need to unlock him on every character you want to use him on unless there is some trick or quest we are missing.
