LOL! You're right. But in a way, I'm right as well. Because I'm one of the guys who early on demanded our own version of Jump To Lightspeed, and dammit, they will comply! In other words they work for us, hence the "we".

Despite the lack of my robes... I was voting for TOR whenever I had a chance. I love it and the awards are well-deserved.

Grats Bioware!

It's kind of sad that SWTOR won "Best Online Technology" but perhaps that makes up for losing "Best Audio for an Online Game". Undeserved win balanced by an undeserved loss

I like the art style of this game, the animations are solid, and the planets look great on max settings.

The thing is: Matt Uelmen is responsible for the epic sound track for Diablo 1. He also did the stellar soundtrack for Diablo 2 (and Torchlight, and Torchlight 2). And he had nothing to do with Diablo 3's soundtrack, which was mediocre at best and should have been no match for TOR's (very good, but not flawless) music. In my personal opinion, Diablo 3 had an uninspired and tired "oh, let's go orchestral, that hasn't been done in like forever!" score, which was in no way reminiscent of the brilliant Uelmen tracks.

If Diablo 3 really did win the "Best Audio for Online Game" Award, this for me is a surefire sign that either TOR wasn't nominated, or whoever chose the winner is deaf and/or bought. Sorry if this sounds nuts, but I have honestly no better explanation as to how on God's green earth Diablo 3 would have earned that award.

I know JW pretty damn well, having a soundtrack collection of roughly 600 filmscores and a good chunk of it composed by JW. I own over 12 hours of music from Star Wars 1-6 and music from several SW themed computer games and saw JW three times live in concert.

Be assured, there is only a meager portion of "original" Star Wars music in SWTOR and itīs edited badly and not at all used in an intelligently scripted way, so it would accompany the adventure as you go along. They should have hired Clint Bajakian and Michael Z Land for the job, the ones who worked on former Lucas Arts- and Star Wars games.

Throwing in the SW main theme at the beginning does not give you a "best game audio of the year" award.

Go around with your speeder and listen to slow motion 20 bpm music while you fight. If you want to actually hear music, you need to use Heroic Moment or throw in a CD from Empire Strikes Back.

SWTOR was the best game released this year. What new game was better? GW2, Tera, D3, TSW? SWTOR is definitely better than those.

My favorite thing in this game is the combat system (sans the Resolve system).

SWTOR 4.3: It was good while it lasted. Thanks BW

a lotta the people tossing around terms like TORtanic etc are what I refer to as "Transient" players.

they move from new MMO to new MMO looking for something, and when they decide the current MMO isn't what they are looking for they dismiss it as sucky.

Pretty much spot on.

But they hate it when you say it... makes them emotional.

It has the potential to be even greater yes. There is always room for improvement in quality. To be blunt. No MMORPG is there, or ever was. As for the other MMO's out there. This one is much more desirable than those others. They have some good points to them here and there for whatever, but overall this one wins over for a lot of reasons that don't need to be expressed here.
