I quoted BOTH paragraphs for EMPHASIS and you CONVIENENTLY didn't quote the SECOND paragraph I quoted. The sailent point was due to Quest synchrinization they felt that they HAD to go with the SINGULAR PATH. That is what I was not buying.

Seriously, Don't edit to prove your point that is disingenuouos.

Soon?! You mean after a full year+, we should be happy that they added A box, hopefully 2, for us to fight in? PvPers have LESS content now than we did at launch, and you think that that is somehow acceptable?! 1 or 2 new boxes after a full flippin year is not good Tim.

I'm glad you're so easily pleased. I wish more people were like you. Sadly, 80% of their customers weren't and have since quit.

I can only speak for myself and my own enjoyment. I can point out the facts of what we have now and show you this: http://www.gamebreaker.tv/mmorpg/swtor-star-tour/ which gets me excited again for the future of PvP.

When I give my own opinion on what I like I don't mean that to be anything beyond that it is. I don't speak for everyone.

1.5 is releasing within the next 2-3 weeks. Content is on the way. You said it yourself (I think you did lots of posters here) that they were devoting resources to FTP and now the content that was in the pipe can be pushed out.

Do you think I should be ashamed I still like the game and am enjoying myself because x numbers of other people haven't?

Not at all!!!! If I come across that way, my apologies. I too love the game...but I love it for the people I play with and the potential it has, not the shallow sloppy game that it is. I have fun, but that's because we have a phenomenal community and I'm fortunate enough to know some amazing people in-game.

I wasn't offended or anything but it was an honest question.

I feel there is a vibe here (in this forum) that if you like the game you should be ashamed or you have to be wrong or have to be overlooking whatever. Just an observation that came to me while I was typing that.

I can see where that feel may come from, but I have a different view on it...

Anyone who states an obvious problem, like the lack of WZ's for example, is jumped upon by people like yourself who claim it's fine the way it is and they should just leave or that it's a STORY based game or whatever other nonsense people spew.

I don't jump on "negative" posts...I jump on issues that I feel are important to the future of this game though Tim. The utter lack of 50 stuff to do is obvious. I want this game to THRIVE!!! Not dive. Pretending everything is all grand, when it is unarguably NOT, doesn't help Bioware achieve that goal.

Fair enough, you are entitled to that opinion but the more relevant question is what would satisfy you?

It's easy (and completely useless feedback) to say I don't have enough of x, without giving specific examples of what you do want. Ilum is coming so that's back on the table and I am happy about that. Be specific in your wants though.

Example I want more PVP warzones with the huttball ruleset (seriously). I think huttball is one of the more interesting PVP dynamics and having multiple huttball boards with different setting and obstacles keeps the game fresh. It's low hanging fruit as well since the code for it can mostly be recycled.

That's what I would like but if it doesn't happen as of today I'm ok with that we have. There's another warzone in the pipeline too. I know this so it satisfies me.

Wow, seriously? I think you're misunderstanding why I responded. I just wanted to say I agree with the idea of turning quests into bonus quests. You have to manually paste in quotes since quoting a quote doesn't work. To be honest, I misunderstood what it was that you didn't buy in the first place. I wasn't trying to "spin" the point at all. But I edited in that second paragraph in my quote if it makes you happy But it doesn't change my feelings.

I would have liked if they went with multiple paths, but I'm not sure if WoW is a good example to contrast. Especially in MOP, it's pretty linear. And replay value in WoW is EXTREMELY painful after all these years. I've leveled nearly all classes to max level at this point and I can no longer bear to level more than one to 90, and the rep grind is making me want to kill myself.

It's just me that sees this post as Damion Schubert retconning a reason why there won't be more story updates?

I mean, who knows, maybe there will be more story updates--but I read his post as saying, "oh, those silly writers, they didn't understand game design. Thankfully, that kind of stuff was expensive, and so now we will only be bringing you "end game content," by which I mean flashpoints and operations where everyone has to run around a lot to solve our clever game mechanics."

But maybe that is just me?

He didnt say that at all.

He said they want to have you play with friends and that they adjust the story so you dont get separated from your friends.

I think its dumb though. In my opinion, story should have precedence. Just give everyone a shuttle transport to where the story take the player for his party and another one to get back. Really, its as simple as making travelling easier. Dont think they should lower the level of the story content for that.
