Putting 2 extra points in Malice is kinda wasted for rage spec i'd say. Isn't smash your only force damage ability?

this is what i run with, unyielding is nice when you get ambushed by an Operative/Scoundrel so you can use Enraged defense while being stunlocked. Strangulate makes sure you get the 4 stack of shockwave when using force choke.

Rage Juggs rely completely on Force Skills, ie Smash and Force Scream

The rest is basically secondary

But given that Smash autocrits, maybe you're right about Malice

Smash autocrits yeeh, but what about all other force attacks? No they dont.. Force push, scream, crush, choke are all force without autocrits and since rage shall stack power u need all crit from talents as u can get

Crush, and choke also count as force attacks and both hit very hard.

Choke for example does 1.4 to 1.75 on a tick tht crits, and I've seen crush ticks do 1k and the final go off for 3.5k. So that extra 4% imho definatly pays dividends. Brutality would give our execute about 40% crit chance; iirc in full BiS WH you will have about 24% ish crit on melee (full power mods etc...).

While thats a nice boost IDK if like pre 1.4 for the talent to be truely useful you would actually have to go for more Veng like itemisation to get the most from the talent thus hurting your ability to pull off the biggest smashes possible

And this is why you augment for Strength and not Power. Yea Power gives you that 7k smash with Power Augs but guess what your other abilities such as those listed above are lacking because of their inability to crit.
