(having skipped most everything past the OP)

"Pop Culture references you would like to see?"
None at all, ever, thank-you-so-very-freaking-much.
Prophecy of the Five
Arikh - Scoundrel / Joshirus - Guardian / Rajidin - Vanguard / Rajalus - Shadow
Pyrojack - Mercenary / Tiltowait - Sorcerer / Dorol - Sniper / Oreston - Marauder
And too kriffing many others. Hi, my name's Raji, and I'm an altoholic.

Actually, theres a pop culture reference in Return of the Jedi. When Chewie and the ewoks swing on a rope to board and hijack an AT-ST, you can hear Chewbacca doing the Tarzan scream.

Even with that example, I also don't think pop culture references are necessary on this universe.

This isn't world of warcraft. We don't need to be one giant pop culture reference. We've got Star Wars, we make our own pop culture references!

I have a dream!
But I don't really want to talk about it.

Name that reference and you get a cookie.

^ This.

I'd prefer none, and leaving this game as a refuge from pop culture.

Although a pack of rakghouls chasing an npc Ryan Seacrest before devouring him has appeal, I stand by my position.

I got a kick out of the Jolee Bindo line in the original KOTOR

Jolee - "I did it all for the wookies"
Player - "the wookies?"
Jolee - " The Wookies!"

stuff like that i wouldn't mind at all. its fun

There are scenes with robots from Silent Running.
There's a scene where you see a giant snake skeleton on Tatooine that's supposed to be a nod to Dune.

More "inspired by" than references...

Obi-Wan is a Gandalf clone. His character arc in 4 is identical to Gandalf's in Fellowship.
Dune is heavily borrowed from.

I found that fallout and fallout 2 had the best easter eggs or pop cultural references things like

'You see in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.'

If you know where it comes from its a great reference, if you don't its a funny thing to say to someone as you make them dig at gun point. If they can be woven in without noticing then its a clever nod to those with a good pop cultural reference.

I don't agree with any current pop cultural references cause come new week I hope nobody will ever know what a Snooki is, there has to be a classic level to any references.

Unfortunately i know it, its from friends.
That's why they call it space, cause there is so much of it.
