I am thinking about building a new computer for the first time. I want to be able to play on max settings for SWTOR and Skyrim. I found these kits from the GeForce site:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboB...=Combo.1069078

Would either of these work and if there is a better build or a part that would be good to replace with one in a kit could you please post a link to it. Thanks.

note :: I didn't have time to look at all the specs, but on a quick glance, overall I think it looked much better than your other thread. You lost a little on going from i7 to i5, but doubt you'll really notice that. However, in case you didn't notice, you'll now also need to buy an OS (Windows or whatever) so don't forget to include that in your decision process.

You can grab either and have no problems with skyrim/swtor

I finished a new build last week using the processor that's in this one, and run TOR smooth on high settings and great fps.

You don't need an i7 for TOR, no noticeable benefit from it. Important though to make sure your mobo is Z77 (these that you posted links to are) so you have the best options for later if you want to upgrade your processor.

Never played skyrim so no comment on it.

Edit: Forgot to mention, definitely give building your own a shot. Once you've constructed your own Custom Made Battlestation that's better and cheaper than something out of a box you will never go back to that.

In terms of OS, get the OEM copy of Windows 7 64-bit. It's cheaper than the fancy-boxed product. It's simply the CD and the codes. The extra charge is for fancy packaging.
