Would give SOME incentive to fight, instead of the lame "8 vs 8 one trick pony in the box" and the now past - Ilum PvP.
With what you provided on the "go kill X amount of enemies with a bonus of retrieving Y amount of converters" just doesn't make sense on how SWTOR revolutionized PvE leveling. Some players here say the leveling is extremely well-done and may have revolutionized the way of MMO leveling and I'm like, "Say what?!"

The voice acting and cutscenes actually add the illusion that you're helping the world and environment around you and make it the side-quests feel as if they're not grindy like WoW's. In fact, these side-quests are nothing but WoW-esque "fetch-quests".

The leveling here is terribad like endgame, but I have to say it's more terribad than endgame.

ilum pvp was fun, but so much lag.
I also secretly hope they`ll improve the engine too Because it`s really a damn shame to have a Star Wars game without territorial domination and 300 vs 300 fights.

I just dug up the link when I saw the question was being asked so provided what is, for now, an official response to the confusion over whether subscribers would be getting a monthly stipend of Cartel Coins or just a one-time reward when f2p rolls out.
All they initally said was they'd be giving you coin for collectors additions and the time you had subbed between Dec 2011 and Nov 2012.

Only in a recently have the stated that subscribers in F2P will be getting a monthly allowance of coins as well (like in LOTRO).

Although this:

The Old Republic, including new, more frequent content updates that Free-to-Play members will have to buy.
Is somewhat unclear in the context of new content, do they mean subscribers will get it free? Or they will have to buy it with "free" coins? Or something else entirely?
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Indeed if you take the money out of it, then they'd be giving Makeb and everything to everyone for free, and everything would be fine (except EA would go bust).

However they aren't doing that.

It's still not about the money, it's about respect for your customers.

I am paying the same as everyone else is here, but I have -NOT- gotten any additional slots (still the 8 as of today). I've got to be honest, if they start asking me to pay for additional planets/content, then I will not see any reason to remain subbed.

I have to point out that you have a way of shining constant negativity about the game no matter what the aspect it is. I wondered what is the thing that made you so jaded?

The games levelig experience is the best one I have witnessed in any MMO, it is one of the few areas may people throw their hatts off to the devs of this game to.

Its logical to pay the expansions in F2P mode, thats the income from the F2P!!!!! Dont flame that... (also maybe some pay as u go services with reduced prices... )

My only consideration is, bw wants 2 kind of subscribers... f2p and subscription with fees... Each time an expansion comes out, it gives 1 month free. But the f2p seems to be a bit limited... How they will balance that. All f2p will evendually have some free months of full access, is it going to conflict with some things? Also the patches, they will reduce it even more, to give more world content?

its things they have to consider. It looks easy to asnwer, but it is also a trap for them... They must not look that greedy..

F2P means world content, not ops and fps or wz only!! Because even if many people play f2p, after 50, is going to be a dry land! They MUST keep this f2p players active!.. I am sure they are thinking of all this things allready... lets see.

Just to get it straight they don't charge for it (money) everything is peachy, if they do charge for it (money) it's the end of the world as we know it?

But it's not about the money.......

Guys dont be confused, F2P means without subscription... Expansions with extra planets and content, is an expansion you have to pay retail price to get it. Its more like the games you buy, eg call of duty, medal of honor, etc... They have expansions, that you have to pay!! But its free to go online or free to play the campaigns.

Its not a facebook mmo that lets u play free and you pay with credit cards to get ingame money... lol

ps: the problem will be, if BW flame us with expansions after that, every month a new expansion hahaha...
