I can't get PTS to update correctly, Norton keeps saying it's blocking a Trojan in the patching.

Full Path: c:\program files (x86)\electronic arts\bioware\star wars - the old republic\publictest\retailclient\swtor.exe
Threat: Trojan.Gen.2

Greetings darkstarman,

We can assure that this is a false positive from the antivirus.

Please ensure that you have added exceptions for SWTOR.exe and Launcher.exe in the Norton settings before launching the game.

Please come back to us if the issue remains.

Thank you!

Thanks, it worked. I only had the issue with the PTS patching not the regular patching, any idea why?

Ummm, its not a false positive, the launcher does some things that get it flagged as a Trojan. You just have to decide if you trust the launcher and enter it as an exclusion.

For example, unpacking and installing the Chromium toolkit in the Windows\SysWOW folder is not OK. It will get you flagged as malware.
