I'm about to order a new video card and can't decide between the 660, 660 Ti, and 7950. For example, BF3 runs better with NVIDIA cards.. Which brand runs better with SWTOR?

No game specifically runs better on one or the other brand. What it comes down to is using the right driver and matching your video card GPU capabilities with your CPU capabilities to make sure you don't have a bottleneck in your processing power. But a game claiming that it runs better on nVidia versus AMD, or AMD versus nVidia, is all just marketing hype.

Which ever you choose remember to keep CPU/GPU compatible i.e. Intel/Nvidia or AMD/ATI.

I have Phenom II 960T X4(unlock-able cores to X6) overclocked to 3.7Ghz with an ATI XFX 6870 2GB video RAM. I get an average of 50-100 FPS everywhere. Also don't forget this game is run mostly CPU dependent.

7950 or even 7870 would be the best for money. My old HD 5850 runs both swtor and BF3 very well almost in maxed settings. In Swtor i get about 90-110fps when not moving and when doing pve/pvp my fps hovers between 40-50fps.

Dont forget Amd cut the prices of their gpus this week so u might eventually get one of the 7000-series as they are quite cheap now. Im thinking of getting 7870 myself.
