Is SWTOR saved on computer or Internet?

Hey all. Recent computer problems are forcing me to have to remove software so the problems can be fixed. However I don't know if my SWTOR progress is saved on my computer or the internet. Which is it

Your characters and all things associated with them are stored server side in Bioware's computers. All your interface/UI templates, however, are stored on your computer. Your characters will not be affected if you delete/damage your SWTOR files.

on a side note, you can copy/paste the swtor folder onto a flash drive and bring those files into your new computer, that way UI/keymapping settings will be saved
