As I recall (and it's been a while) Vivicar was very difficult for me while underleveled, until I got a handle on my interrupts. He's not immune, so stun, force wave and mind snap all work on his big attack (forget what it's called). I basically would use mind snap, when it was on cooldown I would use force wave, if both were on cooldown I used stun, and if all three were on cooldown I used heroic moment to reset the stun cooldown.

I was a balance dps sage with Theran as a healer pet.

Any really difficult fight (imo) means that there is a mechanic not understood or some aspect of your class skill set not being used.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

Only the meek get pinched. The bold survive.

Challenge is very welcome in every game. Sure it might take some strategy to beat some mobs, but that makes it more memorable and exciting. To die couple times but then figure out how to win is very rewarding.
Also, the beauty of MMO is that if you have problem with soloing quest you can ask for help. The are plenty of players there who will surely help if asked.
Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic.

If you try it at level 30, he will resist your interrupts almost every time. He is 34. Every other class gets a level 32 boss for that stage. Heck, I think it's a level 32 quest with and they either screwed up his level, or were too lazy to make him harder in a different way.
Looking for a good woman. Able to clean, cook, sew, catch bait, and clean fish. Must have boat and motor.
((Please send picture of boat and motor))

ok just to clarify: i was on alderaan with my 33 sage
mission was to defend turrets,,not a heroic or class
when i attack one, 9 other aggro, quest was green L 31
even with stuns and all the acrobatics, they still got me twice
now u obviously completed it, feeling it too easy
so were both pretty unsatisfied, if devs put in a difficulty slider it would be better
i work to pay for this game, so i dont wanna pay to do more work
when i pay for a movie ticket, i dont wanna sweep the floor before seeing the movie either
yes there should be challenges in game, but putting it in at low level will make a lot of people think:
"im paying money for this kind of fun?oohh a shiny new game from...",,u know the drill
scripted boss fights simply dont belong in low level or storyline content, put it where it belongs,,in end game instances
ive played MMO for many years now, and every time the devs listen to "hardcore players" or "beta testers"
that mmo is going downwards
yes i would rather pay wow, but they have ruined the talent system
looking desperately for a new GOOD game

It's been real but the game just wasn't worth the sub for me anymore.

A quick solution has been for me to make sure I am 4 to 6 levels above what I should be for the level of the planet, fully geared in blues and purples with all the artifacts and implants, using stims and my abilities to the max...and the repair cost is still ridiculous though I don't die as often.

I just got used to the fact that Inqs are squishy, period, and if your comp dies your next. Got pretty good at running away.

It is a bit silly since I find I dont have to do this with any class but the Consular/Inq. But it is just a badly designed class IMO, or the missions are far overpowered. At any rate, its a difficult class to play.

Difficulty slider? Only if the reward scales with the difficulty. Sounds like SWTOR is one of many "failed" games on a potentially very long list that you're keeping of games that don't please you entirely. Now that WoW is broken, I guess that you will have to give up MMO gaming forever. Sigh. Too bad it came to his, huh?

There's your solution. Gear yourself up better and be more of an appropriate level. Problem solved At least the difficulty.. not so much the "boring" part you claim.
I find your over-inflated sense of self worth disturbing.
