Ok, i am pretty sure that this is caused by SWTOR since its the only game i've been playing for the last week or so.

In the My Documents folder it keeps creating a folder called "HeroBlade Logs".

The folder is empty, it just keeps getting recreated whenever i run the game.

Nothing major, just annoying since the folder serves no purpose.

Yes i'm running a clean install. I am not running the beta patched up for release.

Anyone tried looking inside the folder with the hidden drive and folders thing set to show everything?

EDIT: I just did that and it still was empty.

SWTOR is using at least in some componant the HeroEngine for it and this folder is related to that. Had me concerned also but here is the site with a splash about it being used as part of SWTOR.

I wondered what that empty folder was too. I didn't delete it, though.

I deleted the folder, whoops!

Wonder if people doing that is what's causing all the crashes to desktop.

Greetings All,

The folder mentioned is inconsequential and can be disregarded. This folder has no effect on crash to desktop issues.

Thank you for playing Star Wars: The Old Republic

Why force make it? Deleting it won't work. It just comes back like a virus.

Hero blade is a engine for world rendering. it's a auto created folder by the game for this engine. Pretty much useless and also it wont harm anything, but it's also a permanent "feature" of the game. A bonus gift to you from BioWare
