And this doesn't even take into account that fewer people are on the planets than at launch.
And do you realize that they never wanted that many servers open in the first place?

-- The Super Secret Space Project has been confirmed as ongoing.
-- A new operation is set to drop sometime this month.
-- A new warzone is set to drop sometime after that.
-- Something like 10-11 new space missions are on the way.

And we're already told about new armor tiers, new content on the way, and a more rapid schedule of release to begin within the next month or two.

You need to do your homework and read up about what is actually going on in the game before you start making ultimatims to the company.

Just a thought.
It appears you are either a paid corporate PR rep or being deliberately disingenious.

-- We just had a world event in August , that many players felt was buggy, rushed, and did not reward people well. Furthermore the event barely lasted two weeks, and a great many people were unhappy with the tiered nature of it. If this is the sort of content we can look forward to then people have a right to be concerned.

-- Development of World PVP is still ongoing, and appears to now be tentatively slated for a January 2013 release, despite us being told that it was going to be at launch, then after 1.1, then after 1.2, then by mid year. I'm sorry, how many times does someone promise something , and not hit that target, before you begin to doubt their word?

-- The Super Secret Space Project has been confirmed as ongoing. Of course, this has been confirmed as ongoing for months, with zero details, zero ETA, and zero hard facts. Indeed, it could be that the Super Secret Space Project is a lollypop. You don't know, and using that to say "keep paying $15 a month for nothing" is hardly convincing.

-- A new operation is set to drop sometime this month. Whee. I'm sure the large majority of casual players who don't have the gear to participate will find great value in this.

-- A new warzone is set to drop sometime after that. "Sometime" is awfully vague, but even giving Bioware the benefit of the doubt, if said WZ is a reskin of an existing one, no one cares.

-- Something like 10-11 new space missions are on the way, which have been stated to be "harder" , and thus, for those people who neither care for the rails shooter or can't even finish the existing missions with purple ship gear, this isn't going to help much.

Please, everyone who is stating the argument that "Your Sub only grants you access to the game" , explain the logic.

Player 1 is paying a sub and gets "access to the game."
Player 2 is not paying a sub, game goes F2P, is getting "access to the game".
Player 3 is playing free trial, and is getting "access to the game".

Ergo, everyone should unsubscribe as soon as F2P launches, if our subscriptions are of ZERO value to the company and our feedback is meaningless since we're only paying to "get access to the game".

Keep that thinking up and the only people playing will be , sad to say, fan boys.

To your point of people not complaining, hell you might have something there since all BW does is the exact opposite as the things the consumer wants. Maybe we should all try that and see what we end up with.
This. All 4 of my RL gaming buddies quit this game within the first 3-6 months. Less than half of the people who jumped on board with excitement from all the hype are left. The hype has left, too. And this is because of comments that have been made to us by EA/BW over the last 9 months about "content every month." It has all been BS.

The reality is that I will not encourage my friends to come back to a game that is basically the same as it was at launch. Yes. There have been some QoL added, but overall it hasn't made this game any more fun. And that is why I play a different MMO now. But, I come back here because I want this game to get better. However, I refuse to pump up a game that doesn't deserve it, imo. That shows a lack of integrity.

To EA/BW:
Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

After F2P they'll most likely start working on those ideas or whatever, as that will be the time when the general bulk of Ex-Subscribers will be coming back.

Can't argue with logic like that.

Not even the almighty you can predict whether or not this game will still be here in 3 years. Or whether an xpac will be announced in the next 12 months. Or any number of things. If slamming people for simply enjoying a game on its merits was my reason for being here, I'd probably be twitchy too.
So you're saying that just because Hawaii is doing well financially, the entire United States of America is doing well financially?

Wow has content to keep monkeys engaged. That game is so 5yr old.

Any how... my thing is 'WHERE IS THAT PATCH 1.4 THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO COME OUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH. Stop saying $hit if you are not going to follow through on it. And all this content and what not... its all not necessary.

All this game needs is one thing... more races to play. To hell with the romance of companions... starwars is about the galaxies races. You already have just about every race in the game as npc.. some as companions.... put them as playable characters... you'll see just how fast the server pop will rise.

Wookies alone will bring back half the people that left for diablo3 / tera / guildwars 2
Keep running that mouth of yours, like Billy the Kid.... I'll make ya famous

Didn't the EA mouthpieces insist way back in late July and early August that 1.4 would be live before the end of August?

How does it keep slipping? Could the fan-boys be *gasp* wrong?

OK, no, the game doesn't need (only) more races to play. That actually won't help it much overall either. It needs reasons to be worth 50 piddly little pennies per day. Content. Features. Races could be part of it but it really needs fun stuff to do at endgame. Flash Points. Operations. War Zones. Something better for space.

Anyone who has taken 5 minutes to read the features/restrictions announcement on the new business model knows how wrong you are.

That said, please do feel free to follow your own challenge and unsub and go Free-2-Play. By all means. But please, please do not come back and complain about all the content/features you no longer have access to or all the coins you need to buy to gain access because you no longer have an active subscription.

Well said!
The game is not perfect… this I know… sometimes there some things that make me a little frustrated, but I build a bridge and get over it. I like playing this game, and will continue to pay for it for as long as I can. If I am not satisfied with what BW offers, then I will no longer be their customer… it is as simple as that. For the life of me I do not understand why people are so angry and disappointed of the developers and their ideas, when they continue PAYING for something they continuously are disappointed in. Maybe they don’t know they can stop paying or playing the game voluntarily?

It might be hard for them to come back and complain if there isn't forum access to the F2P members, just sayin'
