But the question you must pose is, would a merc, for example, who was fully geared and who knows his spec, be able to do as well as that? I personally think the answer is not as easily.

Force leap in conjunction with 5 secs of invulnerability completely destroys what advantage a merc had at ranged. In a pure 1 on 1 duel the marauder has the advantage. Picking them off in the heat of battle is a whole different issue though.

Do tanks even have an invincibility button?

5 seconds of full damage resistance but we get dropped to half our health. In a 1v1 I would rather have a 4 second stun.

It's an "oh ****" button. No one in their right mind would use it full health. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't force choke your stun.

If we're both stunned and we both use our cc breakers then I'm just left with a 20% shield and trickling heals which honestly doesn't do much in a burst battle.

I wouldnt really consider Choke/Stasis a stun for Knights/Warriors since you cant do anything while its channeling unless your a "no dps" tank/tank hybrid guardian/jugg.

I'm immobilized while damage ticks off and interrupts if I'm casting. It may not be perfect, but it's still pretty stunning.

Channelled stun for 3 secs. It stops my sentinel from doing anything (including move) and its quirky - sometimes it just stops my sentinel and does nothing, sometimes there's a delay between me casting choke and the target being stunned. Nowhere near as good as a 4 sec stun.

First you call it 5 secs of invulnerability best used sfter every force leap. Now "it's an oh ****" move only to be used when you're at low health to buy you 5 seconds to do damage to an enemy assuming you aren't stunned/snared/rooted/mezzed otherwise you will hurt yourself more than a single enemy theoretically could (and oh yeah you still take some damage while it's up so don't wait too long).

I would like to say as a fellow carnage marauder, this guy hits extremely hard, with most force screams at 4k+. He has either maxed his gear out or is fighting some weak enemies. Maybe both lol.

I didn't mean it was best used right after force leap. I meant by immediately closing the gap between a ranged and melee the ranged barely has time to DPS before getting hit himself thus negating the range advantage. The invulnerability is just a last ditch CD that completely swings the fight to the marauders advantage.

You can't come and just say your assassin will beat me in pvp lol. It's not a duel, pvp is a whole other ball game, and every marauder or assassin plays differently, so if we ever see each other in a warzone, then we will know the result =) thanks for the post!
