As a subscriber, the place where subs matter to me, is simply more subs equal more money for the company to reinvest in the game. Therefore, continuing making the game a better experience for all subscribers.
By my argument I have zero control over anything but my playing experience and paying the sub that enables it. I would never be so self-absorbed as to think my fretting over how many subs the game has will improve anything. I do my part and support the game in as positive a manner as I can. The game isn't perfect ... not even close. But the game's imperfections don't ruin a thing for me. It won't until it starts paying my mortgage.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

Well, in my point of view, we only have idiots and genuine folks that are pointing out problems. HOW said problems are pointed out depends on many things, not the least being age and education.

I can only speak in my own name, but I don`t expect anything from any player. I DO expect something from the yellow names, which, to some extent, are the spokespersons of Bioware - professionalism. I do expect them to follow up on their words with actions, just as any businessman or normal person would do. There is no excuse, in any medium, for such a behaviour.

Therefore, I point out an issue and expect a professional reply: at least acknowledgement of said problem and a set timeframe in which it will be resolved.

Having failed to see any of the above, I can and I will resort to irony, because I feel they forfeit their right at being treated as adults.

As a consumer I expect to get what I pay for. For 50¢ a day I feel I am easily getting that. I could not care less how other games do it. What happens behind closed doors is of no interest to me because I'm not a control freak who needs to be kept in some loop. I don't feel slighted in the least if the devs aren't talking in specifics, and I marvel at the people who have a genuine need for that. Perhaps my disdain for primetime soaps & reality TV is my disconnect because that's what these reactions look like to me.

Well... what we paid for was no content since April. That`s 50 cents a day to ride the same broken merry-go-round.

well actually its not costing the players hence the term "free".

it's not like bioware was pumping out mass content before this option either...

Trying to be "Innovative" and "Ground Breaking" is what cost the players. Now at least when they get new goofy idea and want to smother the players with it, it wont cost the players a dime.

I believe this is where we differ. It's not broken nor is it a merry-go-round for me. And even if it was I wouldn't belabor it every chance I got. I'd simply be elsewhere playing something that wasn't broken.

We can agree to disagree then and hope the game gets better for me

You all have to realize that it is much more time consuming to develop content for this game then all other combined.
Don't compare adding content in Rift to this game... this much more complex and it is not fair to SWTOR to compare it.
Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic.

The game is great, despite having done EC and the other ops so many times now I am still having a blast. That said, I am suprised how long its taking for new content........the game does need some new content now.

Secondly, what aspect of F2P do some think the devs are working so hard on? The cash shop or something? Because that probably has zero to do with the artists, modelers, scripters etc. Most of that is managers sitting in offices decided what to sell and for how much.
