EA hasn't given specific dates but they've certainly said more content more often, often. They've said monthly. They've said every six weeks. Every time they say something, it either doesn't come or it comes way, way later than they said it would.

Where are paid server transfers? Where are server merges? Where is 1.4? They keep promising to deliver stuff and failing to deliver it.

The only team that has somewhat stepped up is the community team. They made a promise after the initial round of layoffs to communicate more and better. Then they went completely silent. Then they made the same promise after the second round of layoffs and for a week were on fire around here with great communication. Now they've tapered down to a bit of a smoulder. But, hey, it's still a far cry better than the delivery we're getting from the content team, which is something between bupkiss and nada, right?

Or are you somehow thrilled that at some point in the future you might get to change your legacy name once for free and you can transfer tusken costume #2 to other members of your legacy? Whee! Sign me up for a lifetime subscription, Johnny Rico! I'm SOLD!

To reiterate: For some, even if Bioware came right out and announced release dates with specifics they'd either call it spin or a flat out lie, then continue working down some unending laundry list of complaints. Bioware won't ever get it right for them because they won't ever allow it to happen.

If I want to crusade for principle, I'll submit my candidacy for an IEEE Society representative nomination. Video games just don't merit that level of attention ... or angst. At least not for 50¢ a day.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

For the last few months there have been promises of more and new content and it does seem BW are unable or unwilling to delever on this. It would be interesting to know what is going on behind closed doors and where the buck truely stops. Is it the execs that don't have a clue what they are doing and spent all their time holding meetings in which deadlines are changed and month to month there is nothing new. Or is it the ground floor who have convinced everyone that it takes 4 months for a couple of new quests or an operation and weeks doing what other companies do in days?

Either way the game will soon be coming up to a year old and there is still no open world PvP though with expertise and ranked warzones I have no idea how they will make it accessable to people that haven't ground out the rankings. There is no open world feel to the game and absolutely none in end game which is all flash points and ops. There is no real social aspect to the game and still we hope on a proper 3D element to the game. Eqaually no progression of class or companion stories with the 4th Pilar that we heard so much about all but forgotten now. It would also be interesting to have a reason to gear up companions given they can't really be used in end game content unless you want to run flash points with companions rather than people. Though the way servers are losing people its a very really probability.

And so we wait on the cash shop which will no doubt sell lock box keys, flufy with a limited target audience and probably HK, Cathar and any new content. But ultimately end up like the CE or security key vendor or Legacy, promises of more to come only lacking any real follow up.

I`ll bite. What`s the difference between the person you describe and a "genuine" player that is offering constructive criticism? (EDIT: clarification: how do we separate the two? How do you tell which one is which?)

Agreed, All of my imp toons are still stranded on adraas, all of my republic toons are on ebon hawk basically they are usless right now. I really love this game allot, i have been waiting for this game to come out for more years than i care to remember. but it seems that BW is just doing stuff that the community does not want.

players ask for less stunlocks in pvp and they add more in 1.4.
players want transfers and there is no word on this
i could go on and on but i wont, i love the company BW and their games, but everyone has their limit. I realize that they are short staffed and layoffs suck and i feel bad for those that were layed off. but again, they just dont seem to listen to their community, infact they seem to do the exact oposite of what the player base asks for. /sigh
"I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire!" Rip .

Drooga's had 183 in fleet last night - and that was in the 3rd instance. Begeren and Jedi Covenant are close behind. I really wish people would stop making stuff up to discredit who or whatever it is they are trying to discredit.
So by your argument, the game could have 1000 subs, but as long as everyone is logged on at the same time you're cool? "Out of sight, out of mind?"

As a subscriber, the place where subs matter to me, is simply more subs equal more money for the company to reinvest in the game. Therefore, continuing making the game a better experience for all subscribers.

Not a thing - as long as the criticism is counstructive. They suck ... they don't listen ... their stuff is crap ... Ya - that'll fix problems. But wait, they need to know so they know there's a problem! Really now ... if those who truly believe that no one at Bioware is listening, then why are they still yelling? That's talking out both sides of one's mouth, which makes they who do it just as guilty of disingenuousness as the game developer they are griping about. BS doesn't cure BS.

There are no camps here. There are only players that are trying to see this game get better.

There are a number of players that are trying to see this game is what they envisage it should be but don't necessarily speak for me.
