Tracer Missile Delay - Please Fix

At max range, the time tracer missile take to reach target after the 1.5 second cast is almost a full second additional time before damage and heat signatures register on the target. This is unacceptable.

 

Not only does this make counting heat signature stacks more difficult (since you can mistakenly start to fire a fourth tracer before 5 stacks register), it can cause an extreme delay in the time you are damaging the target. Example: your tracer missile gets interrupted at the 1.4 second cast mark, cast again is another 1.5 seconds plus the full second at max range it takes to reach the target is almost 4 seconds to register damage on the target. Count that out loud. It's ridiculous.

 

A similar issue was affecting Consulars with their telekinetic throw ability (has since been fixed). The animation caused a delay from time cast to target damage, even though the ability is instant cast.

 

I'm sure the solution is as simple as an animation fix. Please look into this devs, the way you have fixed similar issues before.

It's not just Tracer Missile that has the delay; our CC and stuns also have to travel to the target which takes time, unlike Sorcerers that hit the target almost instantly. If they're able to fix the consular issue, they should be able to handle ours too.

Rockets travels about the speed of sound.
