ETA On Hood Down Option?

They can simply do this...slicing a piece of armor or weapon turns it into an orange item. Then slicers have market demand and can get tips for slicing, people that like their look can keep it, and we are all in in the appearance game.

It's a win win I think. Vertical progression did not work IMO. The armor designs are too odd and repetitive.

Shame this issue gets so little attention here, especially while we have many role players around.

I think even the non RPers wouldn't mind a hood toggle. It's not that we're whining about this, but it keeps coming up every week or so, if not more. You'd think BW would undertand and try and priotitze what their players want, not what BW thinks is important. BW made the game for players, so it can be successful. They should continue updating for the players that already exist. There are a lot of us who love SW and love this game. But you're not going to get others to play this game if you have existing customers with testimony of their complaints all the time. The small issues have grown rapidly into larger issues. I mean, there's a lot of ppl including myself that are playing this game solely because they loved the KOTOR games, not bcuz they're actually MMO players. And having BW put such an emphasis on the Role Play of this game such as the voice acting and combat and everything, it seems they're no longer making a game for role players, but strictly an MMO. But this isn't just an MMO, it's an MMORPG. Let's prioritize what your consumers want Bioware. Please. We've asked nicely. Several times. And with no response at all or the same response of "in the works" is just a slap in the face.

this is an excellent solution for customization. Everyone would win here. And Bioware would have a lot of happier customers on this game.

That's all we know, and I doubt you will hear anything else until BW makes a big announcement about it.
Asking for ETAs.... Better don't. It's pointless: some time between "NEVER!!!!" and "soon(tm)".
link to where they say this will be implented?

The obvious answer is that it will be a paid for option in the cash shop come the time they drop F2P.

While I agree that they need to put a feature switch in game for hood/no-hood, the fact is that it is fairly easy to work around as-is because there are a good number of hood/helmet overrides in game in the current gear set. I think this is why it has not been addressed yet.....other things that do not have in game workarounds are higher on the queue of things to fix.

Sure, there are other things to fix but the hood toggle was promised ages ago!

Lots of things get promised in MMOs and take way longer then we perceive the promise should take. That is the nature of MMOs.

If I let promises made about MMO content be my measure of enjoyment... I've end up severely without joy.
