Why do people want the space missions removed? It's our only mini game in the whole game. if you don't like it, that's fine, but some people enjoy them ever so often. I'm looking forward to more missions.
That's why they call it space, cause there is so much of it.

I gave them a good run when the game first came out, but IMO they don't belong in this game. They have nothing to with MMO ... you can't group them .. there is no raid content ... there isn't even a PVP option.

You might try to point to the solo content like the Class quests, but while for the most part you do do them solo, you can group all of it if you wanted to.

That's all you'll get for the next 4-6 months! They just stated it this week in...whatever that video interview was.
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

I know. they are most likely relatively cheap and easy to produce and that's why they add them to the pool of "exciting" new content.

"tinfoil hat"

"they put the listening post bug in game on purpose to beef up the numbers for the inevitable "but half of active players did one mission in the last 30 days so space is loved by all" stats"

as someone else said, take out the event mission and the afk macro players and the 50% drops substantially

I guess im in the minority with space missions then, ive played them a few times on my first char but i dont think ive been in one for atleast 5 months.

Imo its easily the worse part of the game.

I do. They are filler between PVP and Flashpoints.

However, there are only 2-3 I enjoy. There needs to be more and they need to be... well... more diverse.

I'm obviously a fan of losing the rails.

- Arcada
The Arcada Legacy (Ebon Hawk)
Ord'os (Lvl.55 Sorcerer), Naresa (Lvl.53 Operative), Jagrafess (Lvl.19 Marauder)
Nydus (Lvl.54 Shadow), Toclafane (Lvl.27 Guardian)

Would make no sense to remove them. They aren't overly difficult. They don't take AWAY from players that don't play them. The rewards aren't overpowered. Some players simply think that if THEY don't like something its not possible that anyone else can like it either.

Is current space combat perfect? No. Does it have a place in game? Of course! Not every aspect of every game must appeal to the majority. Even if only 25% of the player base enjoys them, that's still a SIGNIFICANT amount of players that enjoy them.

I agree - Don't remove them. But, I would say don't waste any more developer time/money to improve or create new space missions. We need them elsewhere. Get them working on open world PvP IMO.

Under 50% of all players played ONE space mission. I have probably ACCIDENTALLY played one space mission in the last month. This metric means nothing, and by itself should telling of a lower stat of folks who actually enjoy them.
