Not much of a head start is it?

To my knowledge, the queuing woes of Tomb of Freedon Nadd and Legions of Lettow are exceptional: While I haven't been following the clutsercrap all that closely, to my knowledge there's been a dust-up as four or five separate European states have claimed one or the other as their "unofficial" server and thus each has been bombarded with far more bodies than had been anticipated. I don't know the precise deal with Bloodworthy, but given that it's an English language EU PvP server, I'd wager it's in the same boat as Freedon Nadd and Legions of Lettow.

Which brings me to the point I'd like to make: All three of the foregoing servers are Anglophonic EU PvP servers. They don't exactly constitute a representative sample of the player-base, either across the Atlantic or in general. Most of the queues, at worst, tend to be at the most two hours. (I've only ever run into fifteen minute queues, but that's because I'm on an RP-PvE server and am usually logged in before the peak influx begins.) What Tomb of Freedon Nadd, Legions of Lettow, and Bloodworthy tells us is only that Bioware needs more Anglophonic EU PvP servers if they are to cope with current demand by the European market for PvP'ing in English.

Been in queue for over 5h 3 times these lasts days, so they do exist. Was in 3rd wave first day of EGA choose Legions of Lettow and the queues are really that long.

I stopped reading there

I propose you an experiment.

1) look for a server with a queue above one hour
2) try to log in there
3) measure the time it takes to actually log in
4) compare it to the "estimation"
5) drop your jaw to the floor in awe

I hear ya, a bunch of guys at work picked the fatman server and it always has at least an hour queue during primetime. (Yes it's accurate, I waited more then an hour friday night before I gave up and it was only halfway through the progress bar.) They got a 4 day head start on me so no way they were re-rolling. I just resigned myself to the fact I'm not playing with those guys for awhile. I'm playing on a server that never has a queue. Once they get fatman fixed maybe I'll start and level up with one of their alts, or pay for a character transfer that they are sure to offer.

Oh no! I have to restart my level 20 character on a new server! Someone help me!

Dude, reroll, it's not like you have a ton of time invested in these characters yet, you've had the game for a week at most.

80%? Really? Was there a poll that I missed? This isn't meant to be a "head-start," it is more accurately a "sneak peek."

YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR IT. This was a gift. You paid a measly $5 for a DEPOSIT on the game, you will pay for it TOMORROW! Now, if queues continue to be a problem for weeks after the launch, then I think BW has a problem on their hands.

When a 5 hour queue becomes a 3:45 hour queue within 2 posts I know I'm looking at some exaggerated QQ and don't really care about the rest of the post.

Considering the way most MMOs start, with everyone suffering from the kinds of queues you are complaining of on virtually every server along with constant crashes and the like, yes, this has been a great head start.

I am sorry if you have been getting longer queues, but what you have described is not my experience nor the experience of anyone I know who is playing the game.
So by your logic
No one is starving in africa cause you arent starving
No one is homeless cause you arent

Start to see the issue?

Bioware assigned me to an over populated server, everyone on my server (unlike yours) is experiencing queues. Just because you arent experiencing the issue doesnt mean it isnt a problem.

So three hours is acceptable?
