I think elaborate is fine, however, giving players an optional choice for a more plain look for armor sets would be good. I would think that if Bioware made mostly plain clothing instead of elaborate, then there would be a thread posted by someone stating that the armor sets look too plain; like level 10 armor.

Obviously, BioWare hasn't taken a look at what Forever 21 is doing. They could learn a few or two things on how to be successful in the fashion department.

I don't understand this thread. Sure you can wear Esseles level 10 gear with BIS 61 mods since looks are independent of stats in this game design.

However I agree that whoever came up with those BH/Campaign sets have lost the plot.

Less is more is a good peice of advice for BW agreed. when one looks at a lot of the clothing worn in Star Wars, especially the clothing worn in combat, most clothing is functional and not overly rediculas.
Bioware keeps seeming to think we want to dress our characters like Amadala from episode 1.

thing is if you asked someone everyone would much MUCH more rather wear

that

that.

I've wanted since launch to put my knight in a simple plain black outfit reminiscent of Luke's from ROTJ. No hood, no cloak. Or I could go hood and cloak. Neither option is available, and most certainly not in Heavy Armor.

don't give them ideas, they'll ruin the only few good looks we have.

With the cash shop around the corner I doubt you will have to wait much longer to "BUY" cool looking gear.... Bioware will make all future in game gear look even more horrible in order to drive sales in their cash shop...

All I know is that the Jedi Knight Black Hole and War Hero gear looks

RIDICULOUS.

I wouldn't want you to miss what I'm saying here. They look so bad, they should be removed and replaced.

The Sorc War Hero gear looks like the creature form the Black Lagoon. The Bounty Hunter Black Hole gear looks like a deep sea diver.

You made so many great armors for Mass Effect and KOTOR, why is this design thing escaping you?! What gives?

Look, I know you said you had a few things left in the pipe and then you would start taking cues from the community, but I think you should be smart here and scrap anything you have in the pipe and hire a designer who understands the material to guide the current team.
I'd like to sit down with the guy responsible for having Busta Rhymes fight Michael Myers in HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION. Then, before he could speak, I would slap him so hard his face would explode and his dog would die." - Jim Law
